- Images from the Eclipse. What an amazing time! Couldn't have asked for better weather, clear skies, amazing camp site, and family to share in the experience. Absolutely breathtaking seeing the corona stretch many solar discs away from the sun.
I hope everyone that tried viewing it was able to get some great experiences in!
If anyone wants a full video on my solar processing steps or any questions please leave a comment!! - Věda a technologie
Thanks for uploading these. We obviously missed out on this here in the UK.
2026 you will have a partial. Or trip to Spain may be calling you!
Saw the photos on astrospheric, absolutely gorgeous. We had a great view here in northeast Ohio. I've seen a good amount of pictures and videos of an eclipse, but to see it with my own eyes was nothing short of magical.
I totally agree. No picture can capture just how amazing it is to see in person. It feels cosmic and utterly epic.
Thanks for the tip on the LarsonSekanina process. Those filaments are hard to pull out. We went to Malden, Missouri and had great skies. Love your channel.
Not too far away, we travelled to Shirley, AR. Couldnt have asked for better conditions for an eclipse. The kids were just in awe (well so were the adults too!)
It was too cloudy here yesterday for me to see the eclipse, so I watched it last night.
Awesome images. How do you like the Quark? And which version, chromo or prom?
I have the chromo version. It is versatile for sure. The thermo controls for the etalon actually doesnt turn far enough down on mine so i put a led dimmer inline to control the power to the quark. For what it is it is good. Is it as good as a dedicated system no, but those are mich more expensive.
@setiv2 I've been eyeing one for a while now, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm torn between the Quark and one of those little dedicated 40 or 60 mm scopes.
The quark you can throw on a 50mm guide scope, put on your main refractor (with erf), etc. It is versatile. For an ERF i stacked dielectric stage light filters. Much cheaper than what the main companies sell.
Rosco Permacolor Dichroic filters. #8100 and #6100 (UV/IR and Flame Red)
@@setiv2 oh nice! I'll look into that.
