If you manual set to 0 the grass distance in the startup file (in the game's folder) the last black glitches flying low disappear completely. (Thanks to SCG_fenris wolf)
Hello!
In this video I' ll show you how I solved almost completely glitches for ATI Radeon RX 580 GPUs that came along with this new game's update.
I didn't managed to solve them all but I think you'll be able to keep on playing (with very good graphic quality) while Devs find out a defenitive solution.
i have msi rx 580 gaming x and ryzen 1600x i play on ultra in il2 gb and i have no problems,turn off force feedback in settings it stops flickering,i play in 1080 p which is probably why i have no issues with my gpu,you can look at my videos for comparison. good vid helping people.
Yeah, push it to 2K is a challenge. I have a 4K monitor, but I would like to be able to play it 2K at very ultra configuration for now... I have an AMD Ryzen 7 2700. I'll take a look to your videos! Dude if you actually bump some settings down a bit you will get better FPS than 35 ish and much more fidelity, you seem to be trying to run it more than it's capable of. Just trying to give you a heads up is all:)
Dude thanks but low fps were due to those bugs. Now after the fix, I have 50-60 fps stable

I get about 130 on mid is that good? But I have 570 is it more optimized now?

Hmm its like the high detail load of being near the ground is causing this black glitching as the game renders high detail. Once you get above the ground then the load over distance begins to apply.
Yes it looks so. I hope that this video will help Devs to identify the problem. I'm not an expert in this...
@@ayamoth8925 I think it helps. I thought the issue was just caused from grass because that is what it looks like in everyone's photos. But this shows it to be another matter entirely.
I'm also getting some feedbacks that other late radeon models gpus had my very same problems and my game's graphic settings solved theirs glitches in the same way. But older models experienced different bugs and my solution didn't work out for them
Check the video' description. I found how to solve the last glitches until Devs find an hotfix

I don't have any mods enabled so I can't tell if they are a part of the problems or not
what fps do you get with the rx 580 on ultra. plus the game is 11.99 for deluxe edition
I play in 2K. Usually I have 40 fps on the ground, between 45-50 at 1K altitude and almost at 60 stable above 2K
turn game off, go to your il2folder/data/startup.cfg open it with notepad, find line and set grass = 0.0000 maybe that removes the remaining glitch under 30m until fix is out

Ayamoth are you upgrading your gpu when updates are availiable,i upgrade mine for fixes of bugs in games and it tells you what its fixing.
Hello there! Yes I usally update my GPU quite regurarly. Usually with a pair weeks of delay from the newest drivers release. Planning to change it though
they were testing this update for months and they weren't able to detect this tiny bug????
The thing is that EVERY ATI gpu' s having glitches and serious problems more or less like the ones I showed. But developers said that because of corona virus, not a single ATI-user tester was able to try the game before launching the update....

I have stopped playing this game bcs it is only a frustration. they are every time bringing out some glorious updates which turn out to be a catastrophy every time. fuck it.
Mmm I don't see it this way. If you a proper medium/good hardware, every update brang put an improvement EXCEPT for contact spotting and visibility. That was a newer problem that lasted more than one year. Actually I played the game a bit with the new update (with my gpu still bugged atm) and I noticed a huge improvement. But yeah, a lot of old and maybe small problems and still long to be solved

They solved all the bugs like one month ago. My video was an emergency solution until developers fixed all bugs
Buy a 2080ti. No problems with that bad boy! Or and Nvidia card in general. Had no problems with my old 1070 or my old old 780ti or infact any issues with my old, old ,old 660. I fact the only time I have ever had issues with PC's is when I built with AMD. Seriously hate that stuff. Call me a fan boy..... I'm not a fan boy, i just like shit that works!
I'll probably buy a nvidia high level gpu next time but in 15yrars I never had problems with Radeons. Expecially on this game...
@@ayamoth8925 I feel for you I really do, there is nothing that pisses me off more than having to mess about with setting in order to get stuff to work properly. After all you have payed a lot of money for that privilege. I know that PC components are expensive, what ever you buy but I'm a big believer in buying once! That said, even running an I9900k 32 gb ram and a 2080ti on a Z390 carbon Motherboard i still have to mess about with the settings. It just seems that you can never quite get there. Honestly though I was so down beaten when I ran AMD/ATI Products and since going to Nvidia and Intel its a whole new world.
The main problem is that games are developed for a lot of different and wide kind of hardwares and software too. So even if you pay 20K € for a PC, maybe some games won't shine as expected because they are not specifically designed for that pc. That being said I'll go for a good and expensive nvidia gpu card in the very next future
