  • While the world is going mad, i made a little demo song with the Shared System by Make Noise. Just performed and recorded in one go. Hope you like it.
    The Echophon is playing a freezed loop from the buffer, then the Morphagene blends in a reversed slice and finally the Sequence from the STO going through the QPAS comes in. The DPO is providing pan modulation and Bass. Everything is going through the Mimeophon.
    Make noise, not war. Stay safe.

    Beautiful! I was looking for ideas for ambient patches on my shared system. This is inspiring!

    Great use of Rene for the melody design. Nice set.

    Großartig! Oh Mann, irgendwann mal ein Shared System zu besitzen... ist tatsächlich mein Lebenstraum 😪

      Danke! Ich wollte das auch seit 2017 haben und dann hat es in diesem Jahr endlich mal gepasst. Ich bereue den Kauf kein bisschen.

      Just a question: what do you think about barp2600 in comparison with shared system, 2 different world you know, but does it deverve the companion of the two.... I have a sputnik system. Is it a good idea pair my system with 2600 one?!

    • @tomnoise23
      @tomnoise23  Před 2 lety

      @@Luke_Mile I think that they complement each other very well. Different philosophy and sound but great when used together. I don’t know the Sputnik system though.

    Very nice! Is everything running through delay here, bass included? I’m guessing that has to be the case since there’s only a single stereo out.

    • @tomnoise23
      @tomnoise23  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Thank you! Yes exactly. Every signal was mixed together to stereo using the X-Pan and, as written in the description, from there through the Mimeophon to the stereo output.

    • @F_letc.h
      @F_letc.h Před 8 měsíci

      @@tomnoise23do you find it to be an issue that you can’t separate the signals due to the single stereo out, or is it a limitation you’ve just chosen to embrace?

    • @tomnoise23
      @tomnoise23  Před 8 měsíci

      @@F_letc.h It was a deliberate decision. The idea was to make a patch for a performance and recording, only using this system.
      Really just for that single moment :) I couldn’t even repeat it exactly the same. To me, this is the beauty of modular instruments.

      @@tomnoise23Yes, but I’m asking in general, have you found it to be an issue that the Make Noise Shared System only has a single stereo output?

    • @tomnoise23
      @tomnoise23  Před 8 měsíci

      @@F_letc.h Well. It’s a modular synthesizer. Each module has an output.
