I've been through numerous Hurricanes as far back as Betsy in 1965. I was 6 years old. I have only left for 2 and they were the worse 2 with Ida last year being one of them. No power for 4 weeks. There is only 3 choices when it comes to Hurricanes. #1 Move #2 stay, get all the necessary supplies for a month just in case, and #3 leave until they allow you back in and power is restored.
