  • Captured here is the Stuttgart Fire Department (Feuerwehr Stuttgart) responding to a fire call with a so-called 'firefighting convoy' or "Löschzug" in German. The convoy came from Fire Station No. 4, in the Feuerbach area. A rescue engine from Fire Station No. 2 (West) is also seen responding to a different emergency in the city centre together with a police van and an emergency ambulance of the German Red Cross.
    Let me know what you think of these emergency vehicles in the comments below!

    1:01, The German police really has cool looking patrol cars. Especially the Mercedes-Benz and Audi ones.

    Fantastic footage! I love the German emergency vehicles. especially the BWL Polizei livery. I'm hoping to visit an ambulance station on my next visit to Germany. I arranged a ride along/observer shift in Berlin, but never had time to actually do the visit. Best wishes from Australia.

    So that's where you were heading to :D
    Stuttgart is indeed a nice place to film some emergency vehicles, they are pretty busy. I also like the apparatus from the FD, but I really don't like the layout of the typical ambulance in that state

      Are you referring to the interior layout of the ambulances? I'd love to see inside interior shots.

      John YT Thank you so much! ☺️ Germany has a lot to see and do for visitors! Stuttgart is great if you are i retested in German automobile giants like Mercedes and Porsche, since they both have their headquarters there (and awesome museums to visit).

      Germany is an absolutely beautiful and fascinating country to visit. I'd visit once a year for a month if I had the time.

    why do the sirens sound like someone is making a noise while breathing in and out.

    • @funforever1671
      @funforever1671 Před 2 lety

      Because, as far as I know, that is how the sirens were made originally

  • @pessie83

    The sound of the siren of the German fire brigade is the same as that of the Dutch fire brigade. Only the siren of the German police and the German ambulance sound almost the same.
    But who lives in Germany and can tell me about the emergency sirens when they approach an intersection? Does the sound of the siren then speed up a bit so that people know that they cannot cross the intersection?

    • @blaulicht_filmer_mannheim3892
      @blaulicht_filmer_mannheim3892 Před 2 lety +1

      No ,the Speed of the siren stays the same . Also wenn you Cross an intersection

    • @impulsiveDecider
      @impulsiveDecider Před rokem

      In Germany the sirens stay off until there is a need for them. If you hear them and you are at an intersection you are taught to slow down and watch your surroundings, find a way to make way and only cross the intersection when it's clear to go.
