I have noticed the prices of characters are based off the difficulty. Recommended characters cost 1500, mid tier characters cost 2000, and expert characters cost 3000 or 2500
It’s kinda bs tho bc the fact that expert characters are 3k is just so annoying like make them at most 2.5k. Grinding in this game is also super hard and I find my self only being able to get 1 character per day

Iron giant is worth the 3000 too op
It kinda makes sense. In a way they are ensuring you that do you want to buy this character. They are putting doubt as in this character is hard and are you sure you want to spend 3000 for a character you may not like or don’t know how to play it. But that’s my opinion

One thing I really like about Multiversus is that, as a sort of punishment for spamming, the attacks you spam get weaker

The coin part I definitely agree with. It sometimes does feel like a chore to grind just to unlock a character. But the game overall is fun and have really enjoyed the beta. Also any other shaggy mains out there?

An easy way to fix the animations not having weight is that when its a knockout hit, they can add a little slow mo effect (for duos they can just put it for the two people involved not the teamates as it may be discombulating) if its a knockout hit
If they make every ben 10 alien a separate charcter I'm here for it cause let's be honest the man's is a fighting roster himself. That is not even including his cast of villains and allies that seem to be forgotten.

Nah I think he should be one character who could have completely different move sets based on who he morphs into (could be his down special with a selection thing similar to Finn’s market)
@@poopyfartboi I feel like that though ends up being overcomplicated and aliens will end up being left out unless each new ben 10 show gets their main 10 (young Ben orginal 10 and teenage Ben with his ultimate forms).
@@lesliejacoby9137 we don’t need all 10 aliens though, that would be redundant. Having a few of the main ones though like four arms and diamondhead would make more sense, limiting his selection to three or four or even five that play well would be cool if they all have different movesets that feel good.

Multiversus is actually really fun. The characters can all be good if you know how to use them. The characters self are really fun and the maps are kinda cool. I m already a batman main.(batman is really good)

@@justNigelgaming thats kinda true, but we also use the combo batbomb batrang grapple and the combo batrang grapple. (You basicly throw the batrang, bomb attached if you want, then you grapple to get it back and deal damage)

@Space_Raler I played agaisnt a lot of finns, since he is one of the most populair characters in the game but i dont really think he is that good comparing to other characters. Here is an example: you can buy beemo for 1000 gems but its only useful one time. You can upgrade your speed for 800 gems but speed gives you literally no advantage since the maps are kinda small, and strenght is just not worth it. So i think he is not that good overall. Get batman, wonderwoman, shaggy, superman or harley quin instead. Trust me.( i recomend batman tho, he is super annoying to play aginst, but really fun to play as. And thanks for the compliment btw!😀)

Tip for Finn: don’t buy anything, your up special does more damage depending on how much coin you have
It's not really a good idea to never buy anything. I mean sure, it does do more damage if you have money, but even then you do want to buy something most times.
Tip for fin: buy speed. Being able to run speed blitz charging up an attack while moving>doing some more damage with up special
this is cap. you want to buy speed into matchups where they outrange you/have armor and BMO can be an incredible finisher
never buy the defense tho that shit is ass

About the pricing of characters it's based on how easy it is to play
It tries to encourage u to play easier character like garnet and tries to make u play more for getting characters that are harder to master

I love the game because it isn’t like all the other games, it’s fun and you don’t get mad if you loose. I already picked out a main which is taz but I would also like to explore some more characters

Also a cool little touch in this game is that not only is the music really good, but after each knockout the music gets more intense.

Another issue I’ve seen people talking about is the games lack of prioritized attacks meaning someone can completely block your charged heavy as you’re hitting them by spamming light attacks

I really like how nowadays these types of games are referred to as “platform fighters” and not “Smash clones”. I used to agree with the term, but now a days I find the term outdated and ignorant. So just accepting platform fighters as their own genre with games like Brawhala, Rivals of Aether, Slap City, and well Smash, just warms my heart.
I feel ya. It's just cause Smash invented the whole genre. But it's beautiful to see what it has blossomed into.

@@baysideisacult2244 it does many things to set itself apart like it air movement options, emphasis on teamwork, the perk system, extensive control an UI customization, art style, gameplay feel, etc.
Just because it’s a colorful platform fighter with the main goal to knock someone out the ring, doesn’t mean it copying smash. Is MK a Street fighter clone because it’s a traditional fighting game with 1v1 combat and special abilities? No. It’s its own thing because it differentiates itself in mechanics, characters, art style, gimmicks, and gameplay.

the game's pretty inspired by brawlhalla in how u can climb on walls, the fluidity u mentioned, its alright but i picture it being as fluid as brawlhalla once the game finalises. i hope multiversus takes more notes from brawlhalla becuz i think brawlhalla is the pinnacle of fighting games, on just its mechanics alone, how it just feels so balanced, im speaking as a really long time player, dating back to 2016, and what i can say abt this is that the movement fluidity in brawlhalla has always been as smooth as what it is now since the game got released. So i hope multiversus can keep up on that aspect. This part is edited, i wld also like to mention the dodging in brawlhalla, and the moves u dish out and how its so clear to see on what u'r doing, because idk abt anyone else but i feel multiversus is rly glitchy on how u can barely see what ur character is doing which will heavily impact ur reaction/thought process on how u should execute ur moves.

@@eelectriz3258 look man, thr's no need for a rivalry, i dont see why u feel the need to compare the both to see which is better, both are unique in their own rights and ive never played smash but all ik is that the online server is crap cuz its full of lag so u'r only left with fighting local and that the amount of sparkles, explosions and lack of smoothness just makes me want to puke. Brawlhalla has the largest prize pool in a fighting game, so thr's that. Maybe try getting good in brawlhalla b4 u start criticising.
@@eelectriz3258 to add, smash shld just stick to one type of art style, seeing everything mashed up into a single picture also contributes to the puking i mentioned. I have no idea what the combat is like on smash so im just touching on the visual side of things. Visually i'd say brawlhalla does a great job at sticking to one art style even when they crossover with other franchises like hellboy, adventure time, steven universe and the newest one assassin creed..etc, so it isnt a pain to look at. Combat wise, I'd say that brawlhalla has the most fluid movement with zero lag if u have decent wifi, and its hitbox being super clear, its balancing is also solid since u'r only basically playing a specfic set of weapons rather than a character.
hope this game doesnt die like many seems well done with the perck system and the characters hope samurai jack or courage the dog be featured in there
I don’t think it will, the reception for it is really good and the roster is 100% better than Smash.
Smash has it beat in gameplay tho, but it’s still good in that aspect. And the potential roster going forward again has way more potential than smash. Beloved characters like Gandalf, Harry Potter and Neo in this? Dude.

The reason for different costs is difficulty of the character but I do agree, I have 30 ish hours and I only have unlocked like 4 characters

I think gremlins could be really cool in the game. You start out as the cute gremlin but then you eat and then become an evil gremlin. And you could get wet and then turn into a couple of gremlins.

I played this last night with a friend. It’s really addicting and good, only thing I didn’t like is I was a level 6 shaggy going against level 30s. Still managed to beat them but the perks difference is complicated.
The dodge mechanic reminds of brawlhalla .the devs definitely took inspiration from other games .and is certainly way better than the nickelodeon fighting game

I can’t lie I kinda hate this game but I respect Warner bros and I can see why other people like it. I don’t really like it because of how floaty everything feels and I didn’t hear Macro talk about this in the video but I was playing with my friends yesterday and my inputs weren’t going through sometimes. Overall if you enjoy it then keep enjoying it but that was my experience

I've mastered a technique for reindog I call it the "turtle tech" use your lightning and fire elemental moves to defend yourself on the edge of the map while bombarding the enemy with ranged attacks

At first i thought it eas a waid shwadow wegends type game but now that ive seen this video and shaggy going ultra instinct, this is easly going on my list of favorite games even tho its still downloading
The reason different characters cost more gold is because of accessibility for new players (to MultiVersus or any brawler game). that's why all expert fighters are 3000 gold, but the recommended ones are 1500-2000. so the harder fighters to learn are more expensive and the easier ones are more accessible and cost less.

As a mac player who just simply doesn’t want to buy a PC, I simply skipped on this game cause I thought I just wouldn’t be able to play it. But you had to have been there to know how fast I rushed over to my PS4 when I heard that it was cross platform. Currently one week in, absolutely amazing.
The game is awesome! The only thing I can say is that it needs changes to hitboxes and a bit more clarity on what is strong and what is weak.
I never played Smash before and now I have to. Also love the use of Arkham Knight in the beginning.
In terms of movies, Mad Max : Fury Road, Matrix, Watchmen, Harry Potter, Blade Runner, Gremlins, Godzilla and even Shining are Warner Bros productions (not only but still). I obvioulsy dont expect every movies to be in (knowing that theres also all the cartoons made by WB) but I hope we would get some of these.
MultiVersus is already my favorite game, Reindog and Finn are the best ones ive tried so far im gonna unlock Jake next time

Since WB did make Harry Potter they might (heavy emphasis on might) add some HP characters. Which gets me super excited!
Focusing on the coin hard to obtain issue I've noticed that you can get much more coins when you win a match and hit rematch and loose then rematch again and win and you get more accumulated coins from the end of the match also if you level up it gives even more coins
I really hope macro makes future videos of this and I'm looking forward to a video called shaggy or someone for noobs
