One and only Carnatic musician who understands and sings tyagaraja swami kritis in a more comprehensive manner either in raaga or sangatis or bhava or taal. May be god might have thought that Tyagaraja swami composed the songs but nobody to explore it. That's why he given birth to DMBK. A Telugu person only can understand the essence of tyagaraja kritis. Even now legendary Carnatic musicians doesn't know Telugu and they will not take essence of song. Hence they will continuously failed to take the song to peaks especially when telugu people are in the audience. Balamuralikrishna sir is the only person who can really take Carnatic music into peaks.I really don't understand why he has not been awarded with Bharatratna. Govt awarded MS amma but why not DMBK.
