    "Broche vaarevaruraa... ninnu vina raghuvaraa' is written and music ( carnatic) composed was by the Saint Poet Mysore Vasudevacharyar . I have never see Guru Dr.BMK's video wherein his name is given as Composer except in cases where the kriti is really composed him. I cannot understand how come his name is said here as Composer?! Love Guru's rendition , rather his celebration of the kriti by his soulfull rendition. pranams to the great soul......

    many people do not know that Shri Mysore Vasudeva chari himself praised MBK sir when he heard the keerthana DEVAADI DEVA sung by MBK. Shri MVC forgot that this keerthana is his own composition which MBK rendered in a kacheri when MVC was present. Shri MBK told him that this composition was his. Then Shri MVC remarked in praise that MBK popularised this keerthana, Devaadi Deva. That is MBK who are we to make any comment on MBK.

    As hard as it is to do what I am doing (writing a negative comment about a legend), we all have an obligation to Tyagayya to do the right thing. Not remembering lyrics and missing talam are not what you would expect from a legend. Chittaswaram however was pretty good.

      Srinath Alamela, I fully agree with you in that being a legend doesn't mean that one can change the lyrics.
      It's also a fact that it's because BMK is singing we all could make out the lyrics and point out the shortcomings. With any other singer we would hardly be discussing that aspect of Carnatic music. Missing talam is a rare bad day in office for him. 😀

      Dr BMK, the legend sang it as its.
      Bhaasuramuga is sung as Aatharamuga
      both are same

  • @saisukumarababuburra5767

    bad meaning, not meeting , pl note the correction

  • @saisukumarababuburra5767

    Why Adaramuga was replaced by MBK is the first two letters of the original word perhaps gives bad meeting, hence the change, I think.

    • @gourinandantonpe5789
      @gourinandantonpe5789 Před 4 lety +3

      It is neither adaramuga nor bhasuramuga. It is aaturamuga, which depicts the urgency shown by The Lord in rushing to protect his devotee in Ganjendra Moksham. Aaturamu in Telugu means urgency.

  • @amoeba909
    @amoeba909 Před 10 lety +2

    Thank you. I am aware that this is a Mysore Vasudevachaarya Kriti, however given that it is in Telugu, I am assuming (perhaps erroneously) that he was either a student directly or indirectly of Tyagayya. In any case Tyagayya embodies the spirit of Carnatic music, where in the individual and ego should be subservient to devotion and music. Sangeeta Gnanmu Bhakti vina....

    Pranams to this mastreo.
    But, very saddened to say that he lost track of taala and also lyrics. When one fumbles in the lyrics, entire Bhava/appeal goes of.
    I am an ardent lover of this song and the legend spoiled it.
    Best example of bad rendering in terms of lyrics by a legend
