I never even bothered looking at Shield cents. I always imagined that if they weren’t 70 then they had no value.

We just started ( we're both retired and could use some extra... ). We have already found ( looking at thousands of coins we have ) a few that look like nothing we've seen so far...and we have been searching everywhere that we know of as per your ( and a few other youtubers ) suggestions: still nothing.
Hope we're not kidding ourselves, but nowhere to go to confirm we are dilutional, or maybe we have something(s).
We are in Ohio, so if there's a reputable person you can lead us to our appreciation would be...well...greatly appreciated :-).

If you find coins that don't look like coins at error-ref.com or from Heritage Sold auctions then they're not going to be mint errors or valuable. You can contact Robert Lawson of coinopp youtube.

You really have helped me in more than just coins. Youve shown me that honest inegrity is a very sought after virtue. You'll find a lot of the same doubling on 2019 - 2021. At least on the ones I have.

We're talking coin lingo and obverse of a coin is the front of the coin and the reverse is the front. It's exclusive to coin lingo so other definitions will not apply.
I have three books of coins I try to watch them but this stuff over my head I just know when I hold it if I think its worth keeping. Even time I have prayed about I find another one idk what them worth but got about 25 with errors and Idk how many stars or odd notes. Been keeping them.but now I need to get my roof fix pay my dads bill off he passed in Aug. So what should I do.

These dds are so negligible as almost invisible.i for sure would pass these over.i did have a funny looking 20 in date on one which later I found to be a dd but too late for that one.
I have one I can't find anywhere...itsconcave and just the zink film is covering front side...it bulges outward....ever see one like that?

Tomlov is one I purchased $69 I've had it about a year no problems..... Only thing I do not like is you cannot get photo of intire coin up close , maybe 70% .... There are phone apps that are free & work but not the same

I've got a 2019 penny on both sides its got a brown look to it it's got a smooth finish to it. The lettering looks like nothing like a regular 2019 penny look on Ebay cant find anything close to what I got

Can you believe that o found a variety of a 2017 that didn’t punch the front of the suit of Lincoln and it’s more interesting that it’s the same error in the D &. P mint mark wich make me think that they did it in the same mint house.

So....how would u know if its missing a W or an S if they were in a proof set..?
Because they would not have the mint mark as they should, you can see through the plastic. The business strikes don't apply to this.
@@CoinHELPu I guess I was just confused about the specific set you might be referring too with a W on it.....if it came in a proof set you ordered as W set? (was thinking how you would differentiate the penny only), but I guess this would apply more to specific coins like a proof w dollar? I'm not sure if I am explaining it correctly.
@@Ddkrew1 No proof set has W mint coins, the US mint included W mint marks coins in 1996 and 2019 but they wasn't in the prof set, they were packaged outside the set.
@@CoinHELPu I guess that's what I meant, sorry. ..I have a 96w 10c ..but I would only know if it was missing the W mm if it came out of the package in the cellophane that way and was able to be verified..same for the 2019 w pennys that were added to mint sets. Is that what I understand? Or should I be on the lookout for something else? I apologize if these are silly questions...

I know that Ive got a 2019 D lincoln cent from change at the grocery store. And I could be mistaken but I believe that it is even a double dke . I believe that Ill be sending it in to who ever I send my 1943 copper to . Be it ANNEX or PCGS. Or maybe I can put it on consignment with Heratage Auctions. I really dont know what to do yet.

I've noticed how some of these newer 2020 " Trump " pennies have thicker lettering than others and on lettering edges and such they give off a certain extra shine to them.

No such thing as a triple die, the mint uses single squeeze method now.

None of these look like traditional double die cents. Any dealer will call them "machine doubling."
