- I’ve been missing my old Malibu something terrible. I cannot wait to hear it run again! Only THIS TIME, I’ve built an engine that pushes the limits of the daily driven category. Pump E85, hydraulic roller cam, Overdrive Transmission, power steering, power brakes, A/C, heat, wipers, all steel, all glass, and complete intact factory interior.

Thing 2 is innocent!!
I had to get different pushrods when I put a roller cam in my 461 Olds motor. The adjustable pushrod helped alot in getting the correct lenght and the techs at Smith Brothers were great to work with. The Harland Sharp rockers stay dead on the valvestem throughout full travel of the cam. I also degreed the cam. It was 4 degrees off. The adjustable timing chain set took care of that. Keep the tech tips coming....great info!

Its not even worth going in there. They put an O'Reillys in the small town that is only 13 miles away from me, so I don't have to drive 22 miles to Napa for basic stuff.
@@kevinshore8103 O'Reillys isnt any better around here, none of the large chain stores are for that matter. We have a small family owned parts store in town that are the only place you can be sure they know what you are talking about. Anymore though i just use Rock Auto, cheaper and less hassle...
