    Is the learning path long? I've used unity a lot in the past but I gave up since it was really hard to learn. I would like to create a game similar to telltale games. I have my own modeled 3d characters and environment assets from unity, would it work?

      AC aims to keep a balance of being accessible for new users, while complex for advanced users. The best way to see if the workflow is for you would be to check out the "Making a 3D game" tutorial video (czcams.com/video/dzbyUA7adbw/video.html).
      AC still uses Unity's rendering and animation systems - so long as your character and environment assets are in Unity, AC will be able to make use of them.

    Hi, Ive never made a game in unity in my life. Is the lip syncing feature compatible with live2D parameters?

    • @ChrisIceBox

      I'm not familiar with live2D, but I'd expect a custom script would be necessary.
      AC supports a number of lipsyncing tools, however, which I'd recommend using if you're new to Unity. See the Manual's "Lip syncing" chapter for details, and a tutorial can be found here: www.adventurecreator.org/tutorials/2d-lip-syncing

    Whats the difference between Adventure Creator and Playmaker?

    • @ChrisIceBox
      @ChrisIceBox  Před rokem +1

      Playmaker is a general purpose visual scripting system for any game type, while AC is a toolkit specifically designed for traditional adventure games with an emphasis on storytelling and puzzle solving.
