W203 2005 Mercedes C230 Kompressor Cross Strut (lower control arms) Install

Today’s video were back with the 05 Mercedes C230 Kompressor. Since new Ive had a slight clunking noise going over rough ground and became worse recently under heavy braking on rough surface. I suspected the cross struts (lower control arms) to be the issue. Upon removing the cross strut I found the ball joint to be worn out and causing the clunking sound. Easy way to find ride hight, measure center of spindle up to fender clearance before you remove wheel, replace your parts, then raise with jack to that same dimention for ride hight and torque bolts

The bushings will wear prematurely.
