Only law calls a child an "undo burden". Rape, incest, an unviable fetus*, or if the life of the mother is at stake are the only reasons to abort a pregnancy.
I've spoken with rape victims that had to abort. They're doomed either way. They abort the baby and feel guilty for the rest of their lives, or they keep the baby to raise and have to look at the eyes of the rapist for the rest of their lives or give it up for adoption AFTER having to carry the child to term. The physical, psychological and spiritual ramifications are more than what's on the surface. I can't imagine the pain that any of this costs.

if the man wants a child, he can adopt or get a surrogate mother. His wife's body isnt the only body that can bear a child. It's also her physical and mental health that are challenged.
I think both partners should decide first if they want a baby. And if it happens accidentally, then the mother is the one to decide. Her body her choice.

Honestly, USA who doesn't care for their homeless and the poor and has even given tax money to the top 10%, have NO RIGHT to ban abortion. They only care about the fetus when it's in the mother's belly but after that, it's on their own! Government's right to someone's body already is a ridiculous thing, but it's even more ridiculous when you ban abortion and don't even offer GOOD safety net and free healthcare for the born child and the family, INSTEAD they give a hefty bill in the hospital for having a baby and now they're in debt. The poverty in that country is something they should be focusing on instead of if a woman has a right to their own body.

But have you thought about the responsibility the man will have when the kids BORN? raising, feeding and providing for the little man/woman? why is the husband being notified and having a say in the matter be unconstitutional? It is just as much of him as of her. So why is the husband being notified about his kid unconstitutional? And the part of the argument I see no pro-choicers talk about is. A woman has the right to abortion alright, but does a man have the right to an abortion? A woman can easily say "I want an abortion" and get an abortion go through the whole process and wipe her hands clear of all responsibilities of rising a kid. But what if the woman is baby crazy can a man do the same and say "I'm not ready to raise a kid yet" and wipe his hands clean? That's the part I don't hear anyone talk about.

@Adam Hillier That's not what the provision stated.
The provision stated that the husband must be "notified", not that he has to sign off on an abortion. The "it's her body argument" is mostly a strawman in that regards. I mean, I'm pro-choice, but I do think that if you're married, and supposedly one, you should tell your husband that you're having an abortion...especially if you want him to take care of your child when you do have one.
