This is the longplay of Mazin Saga: Mutant Fighter, a hybrid fighting and beat'n up game produced by Almanic Corporation and distributed by Vik Tokai, released on February 25, 1993 in the United States and a day later in Japan, while in Europe Its launch took place in July of the same year.
Taking place in the future year of 1999 (!!!), the God Kaiser Hell has begun an invasion to control planet Earth using giant robots known as “Bio Beasts”. Dominating the entire world in just a few months, the planet fell into chaos and pollution, affecting the entire ecosystem. To stop this threat, a hero named Koji Kabuto enters the scene, controlling the legendary Mazinger-Z armor.
We control Mazinger-Z in beat'n up style stages, with boss battles at the end of the stage. However, we face this boss battle in two ways: one in a beat'n up style and the other in the form of a fighting game. The characters are very detailed and with several frames of movement, but the scenes, although beautiful, could have more details in some parts. The beat'n up part is pretty cool, but the 1v1 fighting part isn't so good: the fights are complicated and boring, especially against more advanced bosses. Mazin Saga is a game that has qualities, but had the potential to be better.
