How to switch the visor on your HJC motorcycle helmet

I figured id make this video to show people how to switch the visor on their helmet as well as what the HJC CS-R2 helmet looks like with the tinted visor. I took my bike out for 400 miles on Saturday and the new 'dark smoke' visor handled like a champ.

Today I was riding my bike at about 32°F and everytime I shoulder checked my visor opend at approximately 90mph. I never experienced that. Was it the temperature that caused it?

Bro i've literally owned this helmet for fifteen years and didnt know how it works.😂 Never cared to examine and figure it out. The cam mechanism there broke years ago and I just got around to replace them. If anyone needs to replace theirs the part name is "gear plate set" and for my CS-R1 model helmet, the part model is HJ-09. Part number is HHJ09G3002001. It looks to me like the exact same part as this CS-R2 uses and others. The screws are plastic though! I broke one off barely tightening it down! CHEAP SH*T!

Did you ever figure it out? I've reinstalled mine temporarily without it (which means I can't open my visor fully or else the shield will pop out. I'm stumped and pretty annoyed at this point.
