I love learning and I'm constantly researching stuff. Seedless watermelons were created after people noticed an interaction between a compound derived from a certain species of wild flower and seeds, it affected the seed chromosomes and the result is seedless watermelon. From there they figured out the seeds were what's known as "sterile" or non capable of self pollinating so they must be grown next to a regular seeded watermelon and be pollinated by it. Would it happen by itself in nature? No. Are we using natural resources to create the process? Yes. It's human innovation.

Great video! Very informative. I enjoyed learning more about watermelon. When I first started learning about alkaline vs acidic foods I thought everything needed to be alkaline. Thought I had to be vegan…etc etc…the main thing is a healthy balance! That gentleman was very knowledgeable at the end.
