I just have my account logged into my dad’s Apple TV so that he can switch the user to my account and watch something for a few minutes. That resets the 90 day timer. He has a reminder on his phone to switch users to me every 3 months so that I never get locked out because I live in Albuquerque and the main account is in Maryland. Haven’t had any issues with this method thus far
I’m thinking of CZcams Tv. I have family in MD (where I used to live myself) and I would like to see ravens games here in Missouri (as I’d like to cut the cord but direct TV football package is why I haven’t as I like the Ravens).
So I’m wondering how to work around this. Could I have my brother in Maryland sign up and then I use his CZcams TV log in and get Maryland news and football while here in Missouri?
Any thoughts you have would be very helpful?
Would I have to change my VPN maybe, but might work that way.
Or could I have my brother sign up and I would get Missouri programming but be able to switch locations for football season.

@@klujics123 yes that will work, but only if you watch on a device that does not have GPS location. If you use a device that has GPS location, YTTV will see that and know that you are "traveling".

How long do you need to be in the local area before you go back to that area?
I have a question about the 4k add-on. If I add the 4k in order to get the unlimited devices in my home when connected to my home network, will I still get the 3 streams in addition when outside of my home but still within my home viewing area? In my case, we have two homes, both in the Los Angeles basin area, so in the same viewing area but about 60 miles apart. Also, I currently have DirectTV and can stream from it, but when I'm viewing on my phone or tablet, many of the channels are grayed out. Weill that be the same with CZcams TV?

I want to watch sports (Blazers and Chargers) when they are blacked out in my home location (Portland, Oregon). Can I use a VPN to virtually change my location in order to watch the blacked-out games? I saw a YT video that seems to imply that if I'm traveling CZcams TV will temporarily change my location. Is this possible?
Thanks for the tips. I have been added in the Nashville market to the family account. I traveling to another town and it asked if I was traveling and I said yes. It said good to go until April but all the channels are blocked. Odd. Any ideas?
Thanks for the video. So once you set up the family account you have to do a separate library on that account also. Most annoying thing with YTTV for me is that I'm at my mom's 90 miles from my home location, and the only thing I can't watch at her house is a sporting event recorded on my local channel, even though the exact same thing is on the local channel where I am. Every other thing in my library plays fine, only with sports on local channel. WTF?! These even occurs on my own tablet because I'm out of the area.

I have been using a corporate AWS instance in the home region of my CZcams TV account and logging into a chrome browser using a user-agent extension to fool it into thinking it's an iOS device. Then use the "detect location" feature. This SHOULD work but for whatever reason, the XBox youtube tv app refuses to honor this method. Im not sure if it's an XBox app issue or what but it's worked for me in other apps.

Most people don't know that there is a federal law that decides what local channels each area receives. I live in Kentucky and they force me to have Tennessee local stations. I encourage everyone to write their Congressman.
Same in Lake Tahoe, CA area (on CA/NV border) We can see to Reno NV which is our nearest urban area but are forced to watch Sacramento and San Francisco stations which are 100 and 200 miles away.

Ok..for the TV issues:
I recently purchased a different LG tv. It’s driving me crazy because I have Utube TV, Apple TV, Hulu and run all of this from a ROKU device.
I live between Green Bay and MKE and prefer GB news.
With this new TV I am getting MKE news and I don’t want that.
The TV also wants me to use their goofy channels.
With the other TV, I turn the TV Roku comes up and I select which streaming service I want and off I go.
Is this an issue with the TV? LG customer support is hard to get in touch with and their remote sucks eggs!
I want my old ROKU remote and my GB channels.
Can you give me a 1,2,3 list of what I need to different?

I found out its 3 streaming devices PER gmail account. Therefore, if you have 6 gmail accounts with one CZcamsTV subscription, you essentially can stream to 18 screens at once. I share my account with friends (in the same ATL area) so it comes out to about $20/month for each of us. Have NEVER had an issue with too many streams

So I have a lot question, I have a buddy who lives in Houston, Texas. I live in California. We want to go half on the nfl Sunday ticket through CZcams tv. Would we be able to share the account from two different states?
My man I'm tryna do that same thing. From the info he gave, I say you or he as the primary account holder have the 1 email than you can create 2 accounts 1 each for 90 days and that'll cover the whole season

My son was home in Iowa this weekend from San Diego where he attends school. I had him log in to YTTV while home however once he returned to San Diego, he is still getting “out of home network “ notification. Any ideas why this didn’t reset his 90 days? TIA

I split my time between two states (three different cities). I am in my "home" area at least once every 90 days. Is there a way for me to access local channels and use CZcams TV at all three locations? Can I add (myself) as a family member with another gmail address if I am currently away from my "home" area, or do I physically have to be at "home" to add family members? Thank you!
You can access your local channels as long as you view YTTV with a non gps device, like a Roku or Chromecast.

Trouble is, that doesn't help me if I'm not the administrator of the family plan. Question, as direct as I can be: Can I reset the timer or use a VPN? YTTV doesn't allow a VPN connection. Am I all done with the ability to watch in another location? Should I abandon this product altogether? Nobody, and I mean nobody, has any answers.

If you live in a close proximity of the city you can probably get about 30 to 35 HD over the air channels for free. There's nothing wrong with it.

Is there a VPN service or workaround that can spoof your location to the home area?
Have a friend, who lives in an area you want to spoof, create an account for you from that location. Then add 5 gmail accounts to "Family" list. Then use each name until each gets location blocked then move to the next account on the "Family" list. You won't need to check-in from the "Home" location for 15 months. After 15 months, ask your friend to logon for a second. Then it starts all over again.
To refresh you area you can use an app called gps spoof and change your location
Much appreciated! I'd been having issues with this for about 3-4 days, so I came to this video. I didn't like the two fixes he mentioned, but I saw your comment and it worked like a charm. I downloaded 3uTools to my PC (for free!), plugged in my phone, changed the location with their map, checked-in to "home" location on YTT, rebooted my phone to reset it back to my actual location. Done. Thanks again.

@@kaydowney-nh9ge it worked on every device I’ve been watching CZcams tv on (iPad, TV, phone). For YT purposes, your location is tied to your phone. You need to change from where YT sees your phone to where your original account is located. That app does that.
What if the main account holder is out of state. My son lives in Texas and he wants the Milwaukee area, dos CZcams tv block him every 3 months?
Wherever the main account holder is geo located, that is the home of area that the other accounts must sign in to locally every 3 months to have access.
Wouldn’t using a VPN real quick and logging in with VPN through your home location also work?
Somehow CZcams knows it’s a VPN and blocks you. Tried while I was abroad and couldn’t use the services at all. 🤬

Hi, I had my father set up the family acct. I helped him create 3 accts/gmail. My dad, myself and my sister. I'm the one outside of the county and currently have that issue where I can't view any channels "outside my home area" screen. So, I'm sorry for any confusion, but you said for my father to go to his family acct settings and add me? but I've been added. Now what?
You need to watch on a device that does not have GPS so YTTV will not know where you are.

Some of this no longer works. Im on the family plan and the account owner lives in another state. The having them log into my account use to work but now it doesn't. i tried changing my geo location in chrome. Also doesn't work

We have been having CZcams tv for about a year. We have a camp in another city about 2hours away. We go there about once a week and then return home. The problem we’re having is the sound only on Fox News. We have the live stream but no sound. We have video and sound on all other channels. Can you tell me anything about this to help us. I have experienced this as well, I use a ROKU streaming device. What I have to do is to reboot the ROKU and the sound usually comes back on... hope this helps you.

Mom tried to add me to family plans so I can share cost. We live in the same city but different zip codes. So since I tried to login in my zip code I have go wait 90 days before trying again?!
What is considered the "Local" area? My home router, the same City, the same State? I was thinking of sharing with my brother who lives in the same State but different City.
same local area, generally limited to whatever you "channel lineup" is at the zip code you live at.

No, specific devices don't have to be in the area. You just have to sign in the account in the local area and have location turned on so it knows you logged in there.
Off-topic.....sorry....but if you buy an Add-on with CZcams TV where the Hell is it located? I bought "GAIA" yesterday or added it within my Account and don't see it anywhere within CZcams TV.....
We would like to change the zip code multiple times per year so that we see local news and weather. Your solution doesn’t help in this situation. What we do is have two CZcams accounts and alternate between them by suspending the old subscription. We sometime get overlapped bills, but that is the only solution we’ve been able to find.

You probably logged in on a device that has GPS location. So YTTV thought that HE was traveling. You wanna use something like a Roku or Chromecast.
My problem is a little different I alone use one gmail account to log into my CZcamsTV account I alone use the account I don't use it anywhere but my livingroom yet on a regular basis it asks me if I am travelling?? It then reroutes me to a different local channel??
That kind of sounds like you have a VPN and are using proxy IPs when you log on. When using a VPN, your IP can show you in a different place every time you log on.
I had my parents log on to my account, but it still tells me that I have to return home to stream. Why are they like this? Does anyone have any ideas to fix?

I just read that EACH family member can have 3 streams, so with 5 family members that 'should' be 15 total streams but limited to 3 per user account. I haven't tested yet and wondered if anyone else has?
Only 3 separate devices can be watching simultaneously. Regardless of how many family members you add.
I started using it when it was $35 per month and I don't watch 90% of the channels.

This is a lot of hassle if you aren't planning on going back home (Milwaukee) anytime soon. Is YT really worth it? Personally I'm good with Netflix, it covers most bases. If I cared about sports anymore, I'd get a streaming service to watch that (MLB or NFL or whatever).
My parents want cable news... can't get that from other streaming services.

I heard the 3 devices limitation is per account only so if you create a family account then each person will have up to 3 at the same time. Plus in your case I'm not sure why you didn't setup a family account sooner just to have your very own favorites and customized guide list.

I do have family share too. Can I log out of my You Tube TV account and login here in WI using her gmail account? Then logout again and go back to my gmail account. PS some late 60s people are tech savvy!
If you haven't created a separate account for her yet under your account, then do that. If you are the primary account holder in WI, then use her account's username and password to log in in Wisconsin and it will reset her account for another 90 days.

@@ric7053 that doesn't change the geographic location of your IP. Also wifi may be required. That's how online casinos do it. They don't care about your gps or ip as much as the wifi networks around you

How do they know where you are??? Roku doesn't take your address and you can block location data on your browser. I got dual wan recently and youtube logged me out. No, I'm not in New Jersey nor Chicago, but my ips are...
Your internet provider has assigned an IP to your account that tells anyone you connect to where you live. No matter what device you use from your home network, you will still send the same location (unless you use a VPN)

Ask your congressman to repeal the Law that goelocked everyone into legally only being able to watch network channels from the city they are in. Change the law and YTTV will sell you whatever they can legally sell you.
