I used to have one of these and also the vx2000. They were the king of standard def camcorders and not cheap back in the day. Great footage :)

Also, if you can't afford the vx-1000, the pc-100 is also pretty good with fisheye.

Fire dude! You should make a video on the best ways to export footage now a days! Ive owned a vx2100 since 05 but haven't used it in at least 5 years. Gunna start using it again but would love a little tutorial on how you export and get such crisp footage

Hannes Engl Optekka’s do the job... If you go to Instagram there are tons of vx dealers from Germany who sell fisheyes

what were your settings like to make it look so good?
Hi, thanks for the comment, I use the Standard settings on my Vx1000 and I color grade the Footage in the Editing software to make it look nice :)
Hannes Engl a lot of us would find it helpful if you did videos on colorgrading footage like this. So glad I found you!

Hannes Engl Of course!! I can definitely understand, Century optic MK1 is like $6-$800. You probably know this. I HAVE 2 OPTEKA 52mm and 58mm fisheye lens. For the 52mm fisheye lens I added 2 52mm spacer rings on my fisheye lens. TWO not ONE, TWO! In order to get a nice vignette on my fisheye lens. Here’s the link bro! Where I got my adapter spacer rings. “52mm - 52mm Spacer Rings”. ALSO MAKE SURE YOU FIND THE RIGHT OPTEKA FISHEYE LENS AND ADAPTER RING FOR IT.

The VX without an MK1 is basically useless. The whole point of keeping the VX alive is to be able to use the best fisheye ever made.
