Great video, our company has a few of those Fricks along with other chillers at a Bob Evans mash potato factory. Unfortunately we only have 1 or 2 guys certified for it. Thanks for posting, I would like to know more about there operation.
I was watching the motor amperage, it looked like it peaked at 265 amps @ 460 / 3 phase... and I think I’m working on big stuff with 15 HP compressors... 🤣 great video, thanks!
Hi, nice to see this, I´m also care about a NH3 Cooling System in Germany. But we have 9 Screw Compressors with High and Low Pressure. High Pressure at -10°C and Low Pressure at -42°C. 16,5 Tons Ammonia in System. Very interesting and impressive. High Pressure have a Suction Pressure of 1,9 Bar (-10°C) and Low Pressure is at - 0,3 to 0,4 Bar (-42° C).
I noticed that Slidell was increasing in capacity, but the screen was staying idle directional Vals either bleeding by or a slide out. Glad to be rebuilt.
That is some crazy refrigeration. I would have liked to have learned that part of the industry but I stayed with WIC, WIF, beer coolers and ice machines.
Good Vid. That Plant Must be Kinda New. Most Cooling towers i see are all Leaking at the doors and Rusting away, Rust Buckets. Cooling tower looks like Brand New. i Remember When i was a Kid Crawling in through those cooling tower doors and shoveling out scale and sediment from some Monster cooling towers. Repainting them and Rebuilding Cooling towers is time consuming. All that stuff is alot of Fun.
OcRefrigeration,Hvac & Electrical. Yes sir. Thanks. We installed this system. We are still in the commissioning process and adding some more freezers. Also 2 more compressors
nice!!, i work with mayekawa compresors. 1 to a separator sp-05. 2 nh3 pumps with a frigoscandia freezing tunel ( -40ºC). discharge in intercooler sp-03 2 to a 1,9 bar ( -10 ºC) separator sp-02 ( pumped nh3 with 3 nh3 pumps to 20-25 evaporators and 2 vatherus ( heat exchangers to make glicol -7,5ºC. ) glicol for cooling water and other services. 2 to a 0,1 bar separator sp-04 ( -30ºc ) 2 nh3 pumps. discharge in intercooler sp-03. 2 nh3 pumps to evaporators 6 big ones. 4 litle . 1 to a 2,9 separator sp-06 ( 0ºC glicol cooling with 2 vatherus.) glicol for climatization with TROX. 1 "joker" compresor to all the separators ( in case of need ) 3 evapco evaporative condensers. 6 water pumps 6 vents etcetcetc
Well there's your problem! It's a JCI product! 😁 I kid! But I'm not a fan of the JCI HVAC controls, had waaaay too many fail less than a year after commissioning.
Screws be like: let me sing you the song of my people
Awesome to see that industrial ammonia system thank you.
Awesome wish I can get my hands and some knowledge on that!! Lucky you thank you.
Nice. Keep them HN3 videos coming . Good job 👌

404 Refrigeration lol right. I’ve seen it around 500 amps when it’s fully loaded

OUR PLANT RUNS 86,000 POUNDS OF ANHYDROUS AMMONIA, GOOD STUFF
Super clean plant man, I like that quantum interface too👍 cool video dude
AK HVAC thanks
Awesome,is amazing ammonia equipment ,thanks for sharing.
Great Stuff Ulises😀
Way too impressive! good work
Amazing set-up.
Man that brand new! It looks as good as any!
Nice and clean setup
FRICKing awesome video!
Nice! 250 running amps she is a beast!

about like working next to multiple tornado sirens, hope you had your ear protection on lol..

It’s pretty interesting for sure. The history of ammonia refrigeration is awesome

Monster system. I would be nervous working on that
You should see the plant here with massive vertical intercoolers and recirculaters. 8 boosters and 10 high sides with some being 450+ HP.

How much ammonia for that system
This afternoon I changed a TXV on a 800W @ -10°C chocolate tempering machine, size doesn't mat... Eh, who am I kidding...
The good old user 3! Should have manually loaded up the compressor on start up
T T why not just send it on auto?
The "GOOD OLD USER 3 - 99" - ' It gets THEM EVERYTIME !!'
That’s bad ass!
Why do they use screw compressors on ammonia systems ?
Does the booster discharge bubble through the intercooler?
ScotchFox yes. We try to maintain the vessel level at 20-25 percent liquid

sivalley lol 😂 I agree
That’s big guy stuff Ulises👍👍
Nor-Cal Refrigeration & H.V.A.C it’s pretty fun
Ulises Palacios I’ve been watching the Instagram feeds dig it 👍👍
That’s a whole new world.... I like it! 👍🏻
It screwed up
Awesome scary stuff
I have the same problem. Find where that sensor plugs into the Micro. Unhook it for 10 seconds and plug it back in. Sensor should reset.
Looks like a new install Ulises (AMMONIA System) Works Great Until it Leaks.
Ronald Niles lots of misinformation about ammonia out there. Very cheap to fill back up compared to freon.
@ 8:05 I hope they were generous with wire tagging and labeling :)
throttle bottle lol kinda we landed all the wires.
What was outlet temps at motor/besel ,amps?
Michael Lee usually 120 degrees. I’ve seen the motor amps get up to 530 Amps
HD panels👍

I WORKING AMMONIA PLANT
Oil injected screw compressor. Gear less🤘
Dear Sir,
Please help me.My experience 6 years in ammonia refrigeration plant in dairy industry. I change my job place for further growth
silly Weg motors
Those suck they are in the motor. Frick will just disable the analog channel 😂
Old technology!
The ammonia compressor are semi hermetic since two years
What
