What I’m looking forward the most in August is just to be in Orlando. I live in Miami so for the past 2 years I have been doing a just me getaway weekend. I drive to Orlando do the parks and just relax. Only a 3 hour and some change drive. I never been in August though. Last year I was there in March but with family doing the family vacation we do every year. In May,September,November, I did a solo trip but the one in September I took a coworker along with me. I actually got to ride Velocicoaster back in May 2021 before the official public opening in June burning the technical!

I wish I'd known about these years ago. Idk how long they've been around. The sun, heat and (in summer) thunderstorms plus the 45-70 minutes waits can make a reg 2 park $200 entrance ticket seem way too expensive. For OI no sun, less heat, no roller coaster closures due to bad weather and no lines. If one was considering Xpress, OI is a better deal.
Right? They are awesome! When did you first start going to meet ups? We remember being at the parks and seeing them set up for a winter meetup a few years ago and were like, what is this OI meetup thing? We did a little research and went to one and were hooked! We love them and know not a ton of people know about then! That’s why we keep going and making more content about them!
I want to go in December, but it is the night before we leave. We have to leave the hotel EARLY so we can fly back to Idaho (and not get back at some ridiculous hour). Maybe sometime in the future, but can't be on the next trip.
I would go on the attractions first and then have some free food so that you don't get sick if you do it the other way around. I'm an Islands of Adventure guy who would do the thrill rides before grabbing a bite to eat. I like to think of the after hours as universal fun at night.
That's a good plan! Especially if you go to the parks as soon as you can at 5pm! Just knock them out so you can enjoy the food leisurely! It's definitely hard to do it all though, even at an OI meetup! What food would you most look forward to trying?
@@aleclessard7670 That wellington burger is probably one of the best burgers in the park! The nice part about the meetup is you can sample most of the tots and figure out which you like the best!
