Brother Bear! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEAASEE do a reaction to *BROTHER BEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
I would actually like to see Mother India. I feel like that’s never been done before. And it’s a really good movie.
Wolfwalkers? For any 2D animation fans out there??
To clear up the confusion here 5:48 I believe Ellie either had a miscarriage or she is infertile, meaning that she cant have any children, hence why they never had a child together
I’m guessing a miscarriage, seeing as they already had a baby’s room set up
It was most definitely a miscarriage
@@livvworm yup.
I think they couldn't have children since they didn't seem to try again. A miscarriage can break any parents heart and some do give up after one failure, but I think that they couldn't have children at all is why they put their effort into trying to go to Paradise Falls for the time being before they become absorbed in work and life.
@@22Tesla I think they had a miscarriage and were also told they couldn’t have children
You should watch WALL-E next. Probably my favorite Pixar movie.
That my favorite to 😄
Up and WALL-E are my favorite pixar movies
Agree
Day 2 of requesting: The Water Horse
It's on par with Narnia.
I've seen a lot of people react to Wall E already and it's my favourite Pixar movie
I’ve honestly never understood WALL-E to be honest with you lol
Does no one else realise that Charles Munce’s body is just splattered on the ground somewhere with some deflated balloons
Oh god the thought of this
Today on Buzzfeed Unsolved, we cover the mystery of an old explorer strung up by balloons in the middle of a South American jungle near Paradise Falls.
@@spaceshiplewis with his brains splattered in the ground
Didn't he fell in the water?
@@kawaiiemolga In that case he wouldn't be splattered on the ground, but falling from literally above the clouds and hitting water is pretty much like hitting a brick wall and there's not much of a chance he'd survive that.
"How did he think of this?"
I mean, he used to sell balloons at the zoo. His cart almost flew away a few times. Also Ellie made him promise to fly them to Paradise Falls on a blimp, but the house represents Ellie now, so he had to move the whole house. Thus, an unreasonable number of helium balloons.
RIP Ellie, you'll be missed. 🥺
Thank you lol
In case you missed it, when Russell was talking about his family when Carl and Russell were at the campfire, he mentioned that his parents are divorced and that his dad’s new girlfriend is Phyllis.
I never picked up on this until now
@@itsturniptime3699 most people don’t pick up on that part. But y’all have me to help with those missed parts
Haha well thank you Amanda and your doggo is a cutie
@@naylisyazwina6836 you’re welcome, and thank you for the compliment on my dog. He’s a mixed breed he is a cutie
I always figured Phyllis was a nanny who watched over Russell. I haven’t see the movie in a while, did they mention Phyllis was in a relationship with his dad? Or was it implied because he just said Phyllis wasn’t his mom?
Ngl, I always cry during that life sequence with Ellie and Carl in the beginning
same here, i've never NOT gotten emotional bout it
My mom made dad watch that film and he straight up didn't want to continue the film after that cause it was too emotional. But she persisted and he did actually watch it start to finish
the first 10 minutes are enough to make it a oscar winner
RIP Christopher Plummer, he was Charles Munts, the father of the Von Trap family in he Sound of music, and he was Harlan in Knives out
Oh wow. I'm glad he lasted this long tho
6:18 "This movie is kinda getting me sad now..."
Trust us. This movie broke probably most of us in just the intro. 🤣🤣🤣
"What is up channel welcome back to the guys"
That had to be intentional
.....
@@RivalReacts shhhhhh, just say that you has it planned the entire time 🤣👍
I thought it was intentional 😆
@@RivalReacts Oops! Don't worry, you'll get it right next time!😊
Doesn't he say that literally every video 😂
“Mr Fredrickson! Am I supposed to dig the hole before or after?”
“Gah..none of my concern!”
“Oh, it’s before!!”
“Gah lalalala!”
🤪😂😂
Notice how there’s 0 dislikes?
Because who the hell hates UP
Now there’s ONE dislike
@@maryamtara2934 a heartless individual
theres only 1 menace to society
@@maryamtara2934 we must trace this individual down and let them feel the wrath 😡
@@RivalReacts Be careful it is probably contagious so back up
28:07 Notice the dogs checking in as Grey squadron.
Because they're colorblind. 🤣🤣🤣😎😎😎
This film makes me laugh, cry and feel all emotions. One of Pixar’s best! 😁
The scene that I thought was the emotional climax of the movie was when Carl, after abandoning Kevin and dissing Russel (25 minutes into this reaction video), sits down in his favorite chair and sadly looks one more time at Ellie's Adventure Book, and comes to the page that says "Stuff I'm Going to To", and his expression shows that he feels sorry that Ellie never got to fill in any of those pages. (He apparently never looked after Ellie died.) Then he notices that she did fill them in - with memories of her life with Carl. That is when Carl's character really grows because of the realization, and we see a callback to the "cross your heart" gesture, confirming the growth in character. In the reaction video that entire scene - the most important and emotional scene in the movie - is just skipped. Missing. I know you have to leave out something, but I'm sure you could have left out something else. Unless, perhaps, you just didn't get it. By the way, there is a hint that Ellie added those pages in the hospital at the beginning of the movie, because there is a tape dispenser and scissors on her nightstand. She really should have told Carl that she added those pages rather than trusting that he would run into them eventually.
If she did tell him then none of this would have ever happened so I think it's good the way it is
I definitely get where you're coming from, that is a huge part of the movie. The thing is this is a reaction video not a movie summary. I haven't seen the full reaction on patreon, but perhaps he cut it because he didn't say very much there, it would've just been us watching him watch that part.
He didn’t show that part cuz he was a crying mess when it happened.
…that’s my theory
I watched and waited for this scene, too! What a disappointing reaction.
There was a theory about Up that actually kinda makes sense. The theory is like this. Mr Fredrickson passed away shortly after Ellie passed away and Paradise Falls symbolizes heaven. Russell is the guardian angel and he needs to help Mr Fredrickson reach his destination. This theory is actually pretty cool. I forgot where it came from but props to them.
So who is charles muntz in the theory?
Have you ever seen the pirates of the carribbean franchise btw? Thats pretty much the only big franchise you haven't watched yet
Irs definitely worth checking out, The first 4 are amazing.....But 2nd and 3rd are the literal equivalent of infinity wars and Endgame
Those 2 movies are the best cinema has to offer
OMG YES PLEASE I vote for that
We're for sure doing them soon! I've seen probably the first two only, but not the rest
I love those movies so much . I grew up with them . I recommended them sometime ago on his patreon and he said it's definitely a possibility
@@RivalReacts can you please teact to brother bear??
@@RivalReacts Im looking forward to it....gonna ger patreon just for that lol
When will it come out though? Few days or next month?
When Carl was a kid he was 9 and Charles Muntz was 23, so when they meet Carl is 78 and Charles is 92.
Something that you might not know: that water fall is inspired by the Angel’s Fall, the tallest waterfall in South America and it’s located in Venezuela, if you check the part where Carl is going to give her wife the plane tickets you can actually read the word Venezuela on them.
6:17 everyone while watching the beginning of the movie
“he’s built a little bit vintage”
UP is more than a masterpiece, it is a melody, a poem, the deep and ironic meaning of life.
I love Carl and Ellie for one and more reasons.
Last but not least my husband and I are a clan of two like them.
One of my favorite movies that I never get tired of watching.
It was THaT TiMe Of ThE MoNtH and I watched this and when ellie died I cried for 10 minutes straight even though I've seen the movie 100000 times before
You probably know by now but the scene where they were both sad for seemingly no reason was something like ellie not being able to have kids or some sort of miscarriage
This movie, Soul, Onward and Coco made me cry harder then ever
What about Inside Out?
@@carolinestafford8234 I cried,but not that much
@@polinavoronicheva5723 I guess I did since I have little kids. The parents side hit me hard.
@@carolinestafford8234 mb when I will have kids I'll understand that (:
14:09 FINALLY someone gives rotties the cuteness praise they deserve
The first ten minutes are beautiful… and then the rest is not as emotional, but still great
21:31 Carl's face is hilarious for some reason 🤣🤣
The beginning of this to the end UP is a masterpiece
the first 15 minutes always brings tears to my eyes. everytime.
Figure Muntz was 25 when Carl was 10. Now Carl is 70 and Muntz is 85. Old, but far from dead if he takes good care of himself and comes from a long-lived family.
I like cute kids"
*FBI OPEN UP*
I watched a lot of movies as a kid, but the scene when Charles explains the stories of each helmet was the most unsettling thing my kid brain could handle. Still terrifying.
Nominated for Best Picture, but won Best Animated Feature And Best Original Score. The opening of the film has been theorized that Carl, the old man, died in his sleep, Russell the boy scout, is his Guardian angel, and that Muntz is the devil wanting to get his hands on the bird, Kevin, which is more likely the bird of paradise. Even the talking dogs are supposed to represent hellhounds. Paradise Falls is also Carl's version of heaven.
Woah.
You just blew my mind
A movie isnt a masterpiece for 10 minutes of perfectioness
RIP Ed Asner and Christopher Plummer
I haven't seen this movie in years, but just seeing that life montage at the beginning made me cry. The end is also beautiful, it made me tear up.
My mom insisted my dad watch this movie back when it was like a year in 2010. He wanted to back out and not continue after the wife passed away cause it was too sad. But she insisted that he keep going, and he did finished the film.
Almost ten years later, my mother suddenly passed away from the flu. Art predicting life..... somedays I feel like Carl does at the start of the movie; just waiting for the day to end. Maybe my dad feels the same. But he and I keep each other going, cause we owe it to my mom to keep living. She made life wonderful, a real adventure, but now we gotta go on for her, in her memory.
This film is beautiful and I love it.
ellie never speaks as adult, but we still love her character so much. pixar is genius.
Paradise Falls is actually inspired by a real place in Venezuela called “Salto Ángel” :o
*has transparent title over the movie*
my mind: 🎶IF ITS UP, THEN ITS UP, THEN ITS UP, THEN ITS UP🎶
9:55 he worked as a balloon salesman, it showed it earlier in the movie
Gosh, totally didn’t end up crying again, this movie hits me in the feels man..😭😭🎈
I love this movie😁
Dude i forgot how many heartwarming moments this film has 🥰 Also have fun cat sitting!! xxx
i never realized that Phyllis was his dads girlfriend 🤜🏻👩
5:52 We don't know if she was pregnant and lost the baby or if she'd just gone in to ask if there was a reason she wasn't pregnant yet but the end result is the same - she can't have children.
Im from South America, Brazil. And here is a tropical paradise. Especially Pernambuco.
love Russell, that lil hero
Anything goes, like literally anything goes
Symptoms of getting old: Your head becomes a cube.
Up is my mom’s favorite movie, and she’s convincing me too😂
7:12 Ohhhh dantdm actually started a Minecraft server named shady oaks for old school Minecraft players to retire. This must be where he got the idea
unrelated, but your teeth are SO pretty! we love a hygienic king
Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle would be awesome!
6:17 - I'm already crying
I just had the thought of what would an UP sequel look like? It could be cool to see Russel take the lead in his wilderness explorer group, or see him when he's older.
In my opinion, one of the best of the Golden Ten Pixar films. I think if they had just changed it so that Charles Muntz was dead, bones in a chair, and that the dogs were still trying to fulfill his dream of getting the bird, it would have been an amazing mirror image of what Mr Frederickson was doing with Elle and the house. It would have been the thing that started to break through and help him realize he was in the wrong.
Yes finally this movie is one of my favourite! And I like that you uploaded in just 3 days pls do it more love ur vids!!
I was thinking ready player one would be a good watch for you. Absolutely FULL of references
Great video! I enjoyed your reactions ❤
Low-key the cat owner needs to do yt with that fire background
yay
Omg I love Up💖😍
8:54 growing up, I always thought that he didn't deserve to go to court since they damaged his property...
Someone enlighten me, I'm stupid.
Was that like...defending his property?
Up is based on a real story, I think beside the fake exaggeration but I saw a picture of the character Russell irl and omg he is so adorable
You absolutly neeed to watch Miyazaki’s films animations if you didn’t already !
Honestly, here for all your cool reactions and honesty 🎈🎈🎈🎈.
🎈🎈🎈I loved this movie as a kid and it still holds a big place in my heart
Pixar always knows how to make anyone feel all kinds of emotions and I love them for that
The actual place that served as inspirations for this movie I think is Mount Roraima. There is actual spetacular footage of it onYT.
Thank you, Rival! Indeed, this one is a masterpiece... Pixar always delivers!!! 🎈
If I was really watching the movie I would crie, almost cried here.🎈
this movie is so good man 🎈🎈🎈
Directed by Pete Doctor starring Ed Asner as Carl Frederickson, a widow who lost his wife and is now on his own...living in vacant lot. Wanting to fulfill the wish that he and his then alive wife made, he will fly his house to Paradise Falls. Teamed up with wilderness explorer Russell the two venture out together
I think that Charles Muntz gave the dogs collars to make them talk cause he was lonely on his blimp and that way it would be more like having people around even though they're dogs
"Anything goes"
Well played... well played
Your intro somehow gets me every time
This is my favourite Pixar movie it’s sad and happy
I know that song! Thank you Rival!😊
Great reaction!
Hi!!! Thank you for your reactions!!!!! :)
2:54 did I watch "Down?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Im from argentina (south america) and dont exist a place named like that, but there are the Iguazu falls or the Niagara. love your content
De hecho el paraíso está inspirado en el Salto Ángel (queda en Venezuela) y es la caída más grande de Suramérica (y creo que también del mundo o capaz y esté equivocada)
hell yeah legend
I would love to see you react to A Knights Tale! It’s maybe my favorite movie of all time
Really emotional movie!
19:19 Who let the dogs out
5:44 actually he was doing something else but it's more funny if you think about it like that 🤣🤣🤣
I have twin sisters who I look after alot and they both are very competitive against each other so I would suggested the quiet game and it will shut them up for about 30mins
🎈
When I was a kid I wasn't that much fan of UP but now I think it's a nice film for a movie afternoon :)
I love this movie! It's really emotional and fun

Paradise Falls is an actual real place in Venezuela!

Interestingly, Charles and Carl are the same name but from different languages, or different backgrounds.😉
If you're willing to see something not animated, I'd love to see you watching Planet of the Apes(new) and The Chronicles of Narnia trilogies.
