I live in Western Australia. We don’t have rust problems because we don’t use salt on our roads. I have a 2014 with a proper 2” lift, no spacer rubbish. I run standard duellers h/t and they have never let me down even in the roughest outback country. I have removed the rear seats and built a floor for more camping gear. I find the engine is very zippy and at 110 kms on the high way it preforms faultless. I have just completed a 1,345 km outback trip in some remote and rough country towing and trailer with h/t tyres and not a single problem. These jimnys are great on and off road. I would suggest you dump those types, fix your lift with old man emu springs and shocks go back to h/t tyres. Clean your throttle body of gunk , then you zook will be a pleasure to drive on and off road.😎

I can confirm that swapping with the Recaro seats from Suzuki Ignis Sport is well worth it! 👍

I put the spacer kit on mine and it made the wobble worse, just fitted new 2inch springs and standard shocks on the extenders and it helps the wobble. The wobble is usually the king pins so I’m told. Great video 👍👍

Good video, think you pointed out most of the pitfalls of the suzuki jimny, although they also rust along the sills, eat kingpins and tend to leaks from the swivels on on the front axle

Hey, thanks for the video. The light in the back inside looks very good, it fits well there, could I ask what type of light it is? And where did you get the electrics for it?

What sort of underseal do you use? Any advice on rust proofing these older jimnys?

Are you happy with the spacer only lift? Considering lifting mine my 2" and torn as to whether I need to invest in new shocks
