I have had a jimny for 10 years. It was already 10 years old when I got it. Just bought another I love them. ❤ lady driver here.
I have had a 2013 Jimny for 2 years and I am still thrilled.
I live in Western Australia. We don’t have rust problems because we don’t use salt on our roads. I have a 2014 with a proper 2” lift, no spacer rubbish. I run standard duellers h/t and they have never let me down even in the roughest outback country. I have removed the rear seats and built a floor for more camping gear. I find the engine is very zippy and at 110 kms on the high way it preforms faultless. I have just completed a 1,345 km outback trip in some remote and rough country towing and trailer with h/t tyres and not a single problem. These jimnys are great on and off road. I would suggest you dump those types, fix your lift with old man emu springs and shocks go back to h/t tyres. Clean your throttle body of gunk , then you zook will be a pleasure to drive on and off road.😎
I can confirm that swapping with the Recaro seats from Suzuki Ignis Sport is well worth it! 👍
i also replaced my front panel, it was completed rusted... also the midle body mounts and back were rusted.... got new tires and now saving money for the lift :). awesome jimny, love the kne protector :) thanks for the video, it will help in how i will build mine
Will always be the most good looking Jimny 🙌🏾😍 cheers
Great set-up, and a great review!
I put the spacer kit on mine and it made the wobble worse, just fitted new 2inch springs and standard shocks on the extenders and it helps the wobble. The wobble is usually the king pins so I’m told. Great video 👍👍
Prety nice, thanks for share
Good video, think you pointed out most of the pitfalls of the suzuki jimny, although they also rust along the sills, eat kingpins and tend to leaks from the swivels on on the front axle
are there more videos how o fit these mods ? brilliant video i am thinking of getting one and making it almost lake a van or mobile workshop just by taking the back seats out could you measure the enough from the back door the the seats at the full back position on the rains and left to fright on the plastic on top of the wheel arches and also fully from the back to the front of the cab please?
Just got a 2010 manual one, only done 57,000kms. She had really bad death wobble at certain speeds as purchased.
Great looking Jimny with some sensible and pocket friendly mods :-)
Hey, thanks for the video. The light in the back inside looks very good, it fits well there, could I ask what type of light it is? And where did you get the electrics for it?
The best one jimny.. 🙂
I'd have liked to have seen Suzuki do a LWB version of these, as they did with the
Could you explain please, how you swopped over the indicators/lights and wiper stalks. How simple a job is it? Thanks, Clive.
What sort of underseal do you use? Any advice on rust proofing these older jimnys?
Are you happy with the spacer only lift? Considering lifting mine my 2" and torn as to whether I need to invest in new shocks
Nice video! Do you have the design for the roofrack? I need to make one for my roof tent!
