Cool bike. I just got into riding a few months ago buying a Honda Grom so I can learn how to ride. It seems like the Honda shadow makes such a cool bobber!
If I were just starting to ride I would buy a used first bike. A used Shadow is maybe a little less than a new Grom. In any case welcome to the Bike world, stay safe.
Stay safe, and when you get into larger bikes throttle control is key, groms only "flaw" being a first bike is that while you still need to have some throttle control to launch, once you're moving it has to be pinned to get up to speed. But I digress, just be careful when moving up
@@brub5174 Its been lovely! I already put a batwing, exhaust, hard cases and a new seat. Absolutely love it. We've done a few trips already around our province, nothing too long but enjoyable rides for sure. I'm going tomorrow to look at a VTX 1800s. That will be the new touring/cruiser and the 1100 ACE will be the bobber/muscle bike.
@@GutZ_47 The video title emphasized the "pull" of the bike, thus my comment. Size of the engine has little to do whether something is a sport bike, nor if a cruiser needs to be slow.
Lol it's about right for a 600. From a roll it ain't got much, but from a dig, with exhaust, pods/stacks, a rejet/tune and a timing advance, it'll fuckin scoot. With stock sprockets it'll top out under 100mph though lol. I'm about to get my little vt600c bobber going again, but I don't even know why. My scout bobber is way more fun if I want speed.
@@contraband1543 That sounds like the horror story that people that can't ride use to scare people that do. How did he get sucked into his back tire? And if it did happen why would you think it was funny?

I started with a Navi and I just bought my Honda shadow bobber last week
good choice on your first bike bro
Dont sell the Grom. Know a friend that sold a z125 since he got bored of it as it was his first bike. Keep it as a toy and ride safe

Nice light set up I just started riding a few months ago I have a 1976 honda goldwing 1000cc
Nice bike I've built 3 shadow bobbers over the years still one of my favorite bikes to ride
Sounding good!
Vlx 583cc had one in 98 made into chopper.
Harley sportster go vrooommmm no hate though Honda has long lasting bikes and great performance all around
Nice ..ive got a vt shadow 125 ,lively little thing , biggest 125 I've ever seen
Innnncroyablee sound
Shadow,honda 4 in line engine.
Oh that’s fuckin minnnnnnnt
Damn these new shadows are slow😂 ive got an 85 1100cc and its night and day difference between one after 87
Where did bro get the light set up 🤤
Hell yeah
That looks like me lol
noice'
Got me an 04 600 to learn on
Save for the vt 1100 I just started on it and it’s great
Now put a turbo on it and it’ll really be fast!!
Is a shadow 125cc?
do i have to get tattoos if i buy this style bike?
How tall are you?
I want to put nos on a custom shadow bobber.
Wat size rear tire do you have?
Looks cool but had to drop two gears just to pull ahead of a car going the speed limit.
Its a 600cc cruiser bike, might even be a 4 speed. You want speed go look at sportbikes.

you're pretty dumb dude

@backyardshenanigans7298 stock handlebar??
No I got them from eBay like 60-80bucks
What exhaust you running?
Stock exhaust cut the mufflers
Thats about like my F150
What exhaust setup is this?
Basically just chopped stocks
Where did you get the seat?
eBay haha
What exaust is that?
I chopped the stock on that came with it
What size?
What size what
Looks like 600
Pop corn popper!
Does it being a bobber make it faster or something?
It feels faster since it’s lighter but looks cooler that’s why
A bobber is a classic look that looks good, it's a little faster because you shave off weight. But it's not a performance mod.
Basically the most dangerous way to ride a bike for no reason other than to look cool. I saw a guy get sucked into his back tire on one 😂

@@contraband1543dudeee what did i just read lmao. shit would deskin your backside.
All 25hp....
Painfully slow, but looks cool
Oh look. A Hardly-Davidson!
