The lighter animation before the fire looks really satisfying. It's the little things that can really make a character feel unique.
It seems like the Blizzard could just add him to the PTR right away. That guy single handendly designed, programed and voiced the character
The only thing he didn't do was the character's voice, but yeah, it's crazy
He also needs to be balanced by a long shot
Like how long did this take? Because if it was less than 1 year we should be getting 5-6 new heroes a year minimum, great work either way.

this was so amazingly executed, and the amount of dedication is unbelievable. i would love to see him do the junker queen, echo, or even one of the meka pilots. i know that it’s a very long and strenuous process, but either way this is so awesome.

I've seen the Blair concept for like a year and I've been cheering this on forever bc this hero is so good
So judging by his "legacy" spray which features him and Tracer, and his story saying that he abandoned his daughter, and the story doesn't name her, I'm guessing this guy is meant to be Tracer's father. Also his quote "We all need heroes, and every hero needs a villain" mirrors Tracers famous line.
I personally feel like the flamethrower and midrange hitscan doesn't really fit tonally with such a heavy aerial mobility kit. Imagine his primary fire as a conical spread pump combat shotgun burst with 6-8 shots and you can fire it pretty quick almost in between Roadhog and Ashe. His secondary fire could be a gas grenade that obscures vision and gets ignited to deal exploding damage if he jets thru it. His ultimate could be upgraded to a gas grenade cluster bombing followed by an explosive charge combo to explode the gas clouds once reactivated. Let me know what you think of these ideas if you liked them.

Honestly seems like it would bring a ton of cheap kills that doesn't feel deserved and tilting to the other team blizzard can't only look at playing as the player they need to think about how he feels playing with AND against. Like phara is already counted by macree this would be an even harder counter to her i mean a flying hitscan. mei is screwed. reaper who? I mean I guess mercy would have a new pocket partner 😂😂😂😂
This is ALMOST the hero I've been after. If only he was a tank! We have too many DPS heroes in the game, but dude this is insane.

I’m getting some Boba Fett vibes from this character, with the jump pack, flamethrower, ultimate, even the way the gun looks and fires (sort of), would be a cool skin for him, kudos to the creator for the effort put into him
The movement abilities seems a little OP. He can literally fly through a whole map in one jump. They should be more balanced because THEY ARE NOT like you said yourself.

Amazing work, the level of detail is outstanding - I love the idea of the blimp being somewhere overhead whenever the character is in play - that's were the rocket comes from I presume?
All I would say is that it might be worth sourcing an actual Scottish actor to do the voice lines - I'm sure you could find one relatively easily, and that didn't sound like an authentic accent to me

I personally think this design is amazing. The only factor I would improve is his ult. I think it should have more radius, somehow allowing you to deal more damage anywhere else, specifically around the target

In terms of feeling like Soldier’s gun, this looks like it starts with more spread and gains it faster, but the max spread is less, so you are less likely to pulse fire with it, which could differentiate it enough
Actually, I thing the Knave Hunter was based off of Junkrat's old ult, a homing missile, which was deemed to strong because of its flight ability, thus being made into a all terrain tire.

I was thinking; what if his gun shot lingering projectiles? Gradually decelerating as they travel, then hovering for a while. His secondary attack could direct said projectiles further in a specified direction, or maybe straight toward nearby enemies.
i also really like his airship, army bots and an Edinburgh themed map would be brilliant!
Honestly, a payload style map up the Royal Mile towards Edinburgh Castle would be fucking awesome.

Ult reduce the smoke a little but spread it more and you can tell it where to go anywhere like instead of targets it can be buildings
his ultimate should work like mcreeeee how blair should lock on then be allowed to cast his rocket, and possibly letting the enemies know they are being locked on giving them time to evade

I like it, but feel that we'd not need more dps rn. Maybe you could change the flamethrower to like a healing gas with reduced cool down and reduced primary fire damage. And maybe with the ult the damage you do to that hero could be an added temporary shield to nearby allies
Now the real question here is. CAN GENJI DEFLECT THE ROCKET
So he kind of like star wars battlefront 2 boba fett i love the feeling of flying in that game with his jetpack and the flamethrower/ult is like him to lol i dont play much DPS but i think i would play him.
This is an idea to change around the gun a little, not sure if it's good though.
You could add an alt fire mode of sorts, my ideas are either a mid-long range burst shot with a short charge, or a something like a small pharah rocket that cost more anmo.

I like the hero and the devotion you put into it as well as the idea of the flamethrower Ability ( That i personally want to see in the game) However, the Concept of having a hero that does close quarters combat specialism but you contrast this with a long range jet pack renders those abilities in effective due to range differences. The whole point of what blizzard want is originality (as well as your cash) and difference between the heroes so they have a unique play style and having another Pharah. Another thing is the look of the hero doesn't feel though that it will fit with the cast of characters. I can see you have great Development skills and can go very far in the games industry if you keep producing things like this.

You can use burner on smoke in order to create explosion like ashe's dyanamite
It also gets generated when using right click
I think this will make Blair to perform more combo with other moves to deal damage since it's main weapon feels like only reliable damage source
I feel like Blair’s ult should be like a junkrat r.i.p tire except it fly’s but only has 75 hp and is 20% slower. Other than that it is really good

knave hunter reminds me of junkrats beta riptire. i dont know what stage of development this was in but junkrats tire used to be a giant homing missile that rested on his shoulder

Like the concept, but I have a slight problem with the rocket. How would this work with the point being inside of a building or like on Blizzard World/WP:G with 1/3 of the map being inside or on HLC with pretty much all the map being inside.
i understand that he has an origin story already but will you be making a vid on it?? he is such a cool character and i will explode if Blizzard don't hire this guy soon!!:)

His offensives abilities strikes me as rather ant-tank:spread stay efficient against big target, flamethrower with lasting damage good against high hp, and his rocket is good against slow andd resilient ennemi witg low attack.
Also I reckon his ultimate shud target 2 ppl at once and go through shields to destroy the double shield ting
Instead of smoke at the end of the ultimate it should light the area on fire after the explosion to fit his burning theme-- like a torb molten core on the ground but burns like Ashe's dynamite

This guy is so op. He can jump from spawn to first point in 1 jump. Also he can pretty much jump over the whole map. Like in Anubis defend. You can use it from outside of spawn to jump all the way to first point with a cool down of 2 second I think.

Honestly the one thing I have an issue with is his voice. I can tell he’s supposed to be Scottish, but I’m Scottish and it doesn’t sound similar at all. My accent is completely different, at first I thought he was German. This is the stereotypical accent a lot of people use, so I can excuse the voice actor, but no one really has that accent. Maybe some people still have that accent in the highlands, but I went once and I don’t think anyone did. Like most places, different cities have different accents, I’m from Glasgow so it’s obviosuly different here but still

A bit nitpicky here but the keybinding for his alternate *fire* (haha) feels a bit weird to be on E. It seems like he could have made it similar to Mei only with the flamethrower on right click instead of left. I would still like access to the D key when I'm burning my enemies to a crisp.
