Geometry Dash Fans are gonna go absolutely BALLISTIC when they see this
I was watching some GD memes when suddently I was like "wait that's a coaster"
HE CALLED IT "ROCKY MOUNTAIN COASTERS" GP CONFIRMED
🤣
FIAR IN THE HOL🗣🔥🔥‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
When your writing a check to RMC for $30,000,000 you’d think he would get their company name right.
That was by accident the way he said it
Slip of the tongue, and RMC is probably getting between $5-$10M of that, they’re just doing the track work and trains.
@@devdevthrillsYea alot of that budget is going to theming and the building
I've been waiting for RMC to change the Construction to Coasters, you know, since coasters is what they do now.
honestly if someone paid me 30mil id change my name to whatever they wanted
Fire in the Hole was my first non kiddy coaster 25 years ago. Going back to Silver Dollar City for the first time since my childhood just to ride this. Such great memories
anyone else from GD looking for fire in the hole memes?
FIRE IN THE HOLE 🔥🕳️🗣️‼️

Update 2.2
This is going to be very cool. I'm glad to see that the Herschend and RMC relationship has not been soured by Lightning Rod's poor reliability. Hopefully this also helps other parks change their view on RMC so that they can find more and broader opportunities to work together. I'd love to see RMC family coasters start popping up (especially with the new Wild Moose.)
And it would need really cool for more parks to get well themed indoor coasters. They have a very broad appeal and can usually operate regardless of weather.
Same thing here, glad to see that lightning rod didn't ruin their relationship
The Wild Moose is truly going to take RMC to all new heights. The new trains alone are brilliant!
Just to let you know back in the early 2000s, Dollywoods' Blazing Fury DID have a splash down. They removed the water a few years later due to maintenance issues.
Rocky Mountain Coasters 😭😭😭
I kept rewinding to make sure thats what he said lol
screaming in public restrooms prank
I cannot wait! I went to SDC last month and rode fire in the hole and I’m going back next month to get one more last ride! I’m so excited they are keeping the ride. Such a good choice.
I rode it yesterday. It's a family-friendly coaster that anyone can ride. It has a little bit more suspense than the previous version.
I would love to see a video on the new 'Wild Moose' model that RMC announced!
That’s the plan!
I seriously still can’t tell if that is an actual announcement or a prank.
0:46 I thought he was going to get run over by a train. What a relief he’s ok
L'arrivée d'un train en gare de La Ciotat moment
Same lol I was like that’s one way to start off the show I guess
Lol
One of the best parks for walking around, that is for sure, and great food.
Watching MrBeast? nah
Watching Coaster Studios? Duh
FIRE IN THE HOLE!!! 🗣🗣🔥🕳🔥🕳🗣🔥🔥🔥
The new Fire In The Hole looks awesome! So glad Silver Dollar City are preserving a classic whilst creating a whole new experience for families to enjoy for years to come!
More than preserving, they are even adding in scenes that they removed from the original in the 1980s. I'm definitely going back out there next year to ride this
@@AdamSmith-gs2dv That's how to remake a classic! When will I ride it? One day, one day 🙏
Rocky Mountain Coasters rebrand. T Rex confirmed
It was great!
I can’t believe Sarah didn’t go to Asia before SDC
I don't see or hear her... Maybe she didn't go
@coasterchum8289 she didn’t, she talked about why in the live stream about Coastin thru Europe
This false. Some other CZcamsr caught her on camera when he was touring the building. She has been. Whether she rode the coasters or not is another story
@6:13 she is standing on the steps
Rocky Mountain Coasters is it...Construction my brother.
Ohio is part of the heartland btw. Our motto is 'The Heart of it All' 😊
Ohio is the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest. So now it is also the heartland?
Home park ❤❤❤
So lucky. I love Dollywood but man did I wish they were swapped
LOBOTOMY COASTER
Great video! Thanks for this inside look. I was excited when they announced partnering with RMC on this. I wonder if RMC worked with any dark ride manufacturing companies during its development. I don't wan to be too greedy, but it would be amazing if the dark ride elements are kicked up a few notches from the original. It's clear the environment will be immersive and the ride itself will be great and true to the original. But is anyone else hoping for some real fire effects like on Escape from Pompeii? Would be cool to feel the heat of the fire. Maybe some detailed animatronics too.
Can’t wait to ride this. Never made it on the OG but a family RMC gets me way too excited. Some “coaster fans” will likely be annoyed and confused by its lack of inversions etc but looks amazing
Nice
Taylor I was just at glenwood on thursday. I saw yall doing the liftwalk while I was by defiance
Blazing fury has had the splashdown off and on over the years. I always preferred it when it was there though.
I think it is the only indoor roller coaster in the heartland
Adventureland has The Underground. Any rollercoaster in a mall in the Heartland. A kiddie coaster inside a former Walmart building which is now a family pizza buffet and carnival ride place.
new human gamemode in gd
new multiplayer version in gd
irl daily chat in gd
new demon level "fire in the hole" in gd (49 stars)
all of these are coming in 12.9 july, 6th, 4011
When did RMC build this? I didnt even hear a word about it until now 😯
This your first time seeing the actual inside of the building with the lights on?
Can’t wait to see this indoor family RMC open, I think one may be coming to Alton Towers too with project horizon 2025! If anyone is interested why I made a video on the topic
Where's Sarah?
So that means Sara went to silver dollars city
Was that by accident saying Rocky Mountain Coasters
RMC Rocky Mountain Coasters...?
Silver Dollar City is great. But they need a Thunderation retrack, that sucker is rough. 🤔
I’m going to Silver Dollar City for the first time in October, anyone know if the old Fire in the Hole still going to be operating?
I’d love to ride it before they close it
Right now there isn't any confirmation closing date other than 2023, perhaps It'll stay open until the end of the season.
It will stay open until the end of the season
"Rocky Mountain Coasters" seems legit
6:45 there I am
Thats def a wild mouse it has to be
BGW IS PLANTING TREES AT PANTHEON🥳
Blazing furry does have the splash down barrier, but they no longer run it with water. They just recently changed it in the last... I dunno 5-10 years maybe!? I'm not exactly sure the reasoning, for taking out the water... but I remember them saying something about upkeep not being worth it at one point... and I know people were always complaining about the smell of the water.
River rampage also had complaints about smelly water 🤷♀️
So now the real question remains, what will go where the former Fire In The Hole sits? I don't know when we'll find out but I am excited for it never the less.
I imagine it will get repurposed somehow. If I recall correctly, that building is way over where Powder Keg is, and now the new version is virtually on the other side of the park.
The current FITH building is not saveable and will be cleared. It sits at the start of a long flat ridge leading to the only area they really have for major expansion, so my guess is they won't build anything in it's place.
@@witheandstone7267 If it's a long flat ride, then why wouldn't they put anything in its place.
I'm skeptical about this one. remember what happened to lightning run when it first opened
Did you bring Sarah??? If not, you need to be shamed...BIG TIME!!!
RIP Red Flanders Pants
Those dang Bald Knobbers keep stealing them
@@AdamSmith-gs2dv You can actually find the pants on a clothes line It’s in another section of the park
I hope to se you guys when it opens.
Hey Taylor. Just out of curiosity, are you and Sarah going to come to Six Flags St Louis and ride Rookie Racer whenever it opens?
Rocky Mountain Coasters lol.
so will this be a new rmc credit?
I saw Sarah in one shot of this video. Is she doing a seperate video on this?
No, she will be in our standard SDC vlog but not a Fire in the Hole video
Onboard audio? That must be expensive.
Seems really expensive to use RMC I-Box track on something like this. Like, it totally doesn't need it force wise. Like using B&M track on a family coaster, just doesn't make sense. Ride looks fantastic though. I'm glad it'll be there when I finally make my way out to the park.
I-Box track is cheap.
Zadra at EnergyLandia costed approximately $15 million.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zadra_(roller_coaster)
Meanwhile, Batman: The Ride clones, which are much smaller rides, costed approximately $7 million, or $15 million adjusted for inflation. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman:_The_Ride
Fire in the Hole isn't expensive because it's an RMC. It's expensive because of the elaborate theming.
First we get a Sarah only video, and now a Taylor only video.
we took turns!!
I wonder if there’re gonna use rmc’s wild moose trains? The track looks a lot smaller than the track on a bigger rmc’s like wildcats revenge or zadra.
It does. Definitely not traditional I box track
Yes, I wasn't seeing RMC's I-Box track in there either.@@robertstephens5185
Bro said rocky mountain coasters
RMC just announced their new family wild mouse coaster concept that could definitely fit in that building???? Maybe they are getting a RMC wild mouse?
Never mind, it looks like they are just retracking it
It's a completely new building, the original building has major structural issues, so it seemed like they were better off building a new version of the ride from the ground up.
FINALLY got to go back to King's Island a month ago. Gotta admit Orion equals or beats Millenium Force. Never thought I'd say that.
Yea Orion beats Millie for me also
@Jakebtw_7 this is true, if they put orion next to a lake like millie, people would be calling it elite
@@jcspotter7322 yep
Facts
I was going to go yesterday but we were to late😔😔😔
At 7:08 that would be the one that goes under the burning bridge
Ok, can someone help me out because I know the Gringotts ride covers 75,000 sq ft but how much of that is the ride?
This is how i know im spoiled and lucky to live just 5 hours away from six flags magic mountain, when he said this was there first 200 milliom project i thought to myself; thats it? But the fact that silver dollar is finally making this big step...has to be excited for the residents
This project isn't a 200 million dollar project. Brad was talking about all the projects over the last 10-ish years.
So, well, that part of the original track come back that was removed? I hope you know the story of the original track section, and how someone… I guess got beheaded, as the restraint did not work properly, allowing them to stand, while the rose movie. Of course, this is only speculation as to why the original crack section got removed, but I also wonder the light bars will be going down as tightly as they did on the original fire in the hole, and as quickly.
why did I hear back on track
Hopefully they don't get rid of the original fire in the hole, that one is a classic.
That's exactly what they're doing
rocky mountain coasters? it's 2/3 right
honestly, that water splashdown may not last for long. It only lasted for a bit on blazing fury at dw
You realize the OG Fire in the Hole has always used a water splashdown?
But they kept it up for years at SDC. I think they'll really want to continue that part for a long time. And it's not like splashdowns are some rare unworkable thing on coasters. Plenty of them do just fine.
@@waltersobchak8080Yea it still has it, one of the reasons it's better than Blazing Fury
🤣 Just been doing it since 1972. 😎

Fire in the hole, Sponcered By Chipotle.
Did Sarah not come? She still hasn’t ridden time traveler??
Are you not going to Alton towers?
we did!
@@CoasterStudios sorry for the confusion
And Sarah still hasn’t been to SDC
Why not keep the original Fire in the Hole and retheme into something keeping the coaster still in tact
The original is at end of life, this is the best way to keep it around and make the needed improvements.
@@devdevthrills Couldn't they overhaul the track and surely that would be cheaper similar to what happened with Nemesis, because by the sounds of the og Fire in the Hole is iconic I have never been to SDC
@@joecandish3923 unfortunately no, the entire building, all the effects, and ride were too old to make any reasonable effort to save in that location. The new building is much larger and has modern technology in mind. What they are doing couldn’t be done in the previous space. It’s a great classic attraction! I think their options were to tear it down and do nothing or tear it down and build this new version - also in a location that makes sense in the park.
@@devdevthrills What do you think they'll do with the old plot of land a suspended thrill coaster perhaps would make sense as they don't have a suspended coaster
@@joecandish3923 good question, I would love to see another dark ride, but I think they’ll clear that plot and put a larger coaster there that goes off into the forest by the train tracks. I don’t think they’ll do a suspended coaster in that spot, I could see that down the road in another new family area like Dollywood.
Doesn't he mean rocky mountain construction
I absolutely love that SDC is staying faithful to the original and are NOT trying to make the ride politically correct by removing the Bald Knobbers (was very worried that might happen). Also interesting fact is that this new version of Fire in the Hole will add in scenes that they removed from the original in the 1980s to increase capacity
This! People get upset about everything nowadays
As someone who you would call "woke", I highly doubt that the average person actually knows about the Badknobbers
Yeah, considering how much Disney loves to change things either for the sake of political correctness or to push their IP more(RIP Splash Mountain and Figment), I couldn't help but wonder if SDC was going to do the same kind of thing with their updated ride
Looking like a Terrain Hyper Coaster being teased on the poster in the top left corner. That IS NOT Wildfire or Powderkeg.
You're looking way too much into this
@@moekitsune LMAO mark my words they are gonna get one. Dollywood got their huge expansions with big new attractions, now its SDC's turn.
How big are those drops really?
I know video always makes a drop look smaller but these still looks tiny?
I wonder will this be about the same thrill level as the original or will they perhaps amp it up a bit
I was there this weekend. They said they wanted to keep it as close to the OG as possible, so still a kids first "big coaster".
@@dyskordian
Yeah
I found out it is actually going to go 1 mph slower than the original
Not what I'd envision when I hear "$30 million RMC". And what was wrong with the original that they needed a new building and an entirely new attraction?
It's a 50 year old building full of mold and decay.
@@MCrafter12345 So, should this be expected for Blazing Fury? What about the Bill Tracey and pretzel dark rides that are at least the same age? Was the track and mechanics not salvagable despite a bad building a la Golden Nugget/Black Diamond? To be fair I imagine that indoor splashdown may have caused accelerated decay, in which case why are they keeping it?
How can something this small cost $30,000,000? Someone plz explain if you know more about this? They could’ve built a B&M gigacoaster for that and they decide to use that for a kids ride🤦🏻♂️
indoor attractions aren't cheap! A lot of that money goes towards the thematics of it- it is supposed to be very detailed inside
@@CoasterStudios I guess I better not judge it til after riding it. I rode the old fire in the hole years ago and thought it was pretty good. I’m curious to see what they do with it
2:18 Rocky Mountain Coasters?😂 Bro can’t even say the name of the company that is building a 30,000,000 rollercoaster correctly! 🤣
LOL, Rocky Mountain Coaster... if only I got paid millions per year and messed up my business partners name...
Rocky Mountain Coasters lol 😂 someone give that guy the sack
Relax- it’s just a small mistake. Brad Thomas is an incredible individual who does amazing things for SDC. I hope he never gets the sack!
I feel like it was a waste of money. It’s the same ride. Just modern. I loved the old ride. I would have preferred keep the old ride and use that 30 mil on something new and completely different. We would have 2 rides, now we still only have 1.
Fire in the hole was going to close regardless because the building was becoming too dilapidated. It makes sense to remake it instead of having it be gone completely
Replacing Fire in the Hole is the dumbest decision in the history of your park. SDC is about nostalgia, and you are getting rid of your most nostalgic ride. When the nostalgia is gone, SDC is just another roller coaster park. And I live much closer to Six Flags and World's of Fun. What reason would I have to come back to you?
They're literally replacing it with a better version of the same thing, how is that a dumb decision? They're bringing it into the modern day so it can last another 50+ years for everyone to enjoy in the years to come
@@CoasterStudios Will the new ride be the old ride? No, it won't.
Bro RMC’d a dark ride 💀
Missouri? No thanks
