Yes. HOA sold my friend’s house in Las Vegas Nevada. It was all set up from the 1st day when he signed the management agreement…he didn’t fight back because no money to hire a lawyer.
I don't know why anyone would want to live in a HOA
I mean I could see the allure. Your neighbor can’t leave his car up on blocks all year long with the hood open. My Nextdoor neighbor cuts his grass once a month and it’s usually a foot or taller by then with the weeds reaching 2 feet. Some of these hoa fees go towards having and stocking a central pond with fish for the neighborhood kids.
The HOAs in some areas are tripling in less than 2 years. It's crazy. Just say NO. Never HOA.
HOA's are like the mafia. I specifically did not want to live in an HOA neighborhood when I moved. So happy I found the best one in Pensacola thanks to you, Jack. Thanks for these videos. I really don't understand why anyone would want to sink their money into living in a neighborhood that plays Russian roulette with your home.
If we unite GAME OVER
If you buy a new build in a new subdivision, does the developer hire a management company to run the HOA? Does it get turned over to homeowners at some point?
Great video!
HOAs can't take your home, but they can put leins on it for not paying your dues or fines. HOAs have their place to keep property value up, but it is your choice on whether to buy a house in a neighborhood that has one. Make sure first that a Property Management Company manages the HOA and keeps them in check. Again it's your choice on whether to buy into a hood with an HOA and please read the HOA documents so you know the rules and regulations of that said neighborhood before you buy in, otherwise it's on you.
Wrong. They can definitely foreclose if the original documents that you signed allow for it which many do.
@@johnkatrich2954 I can see that happening if you haven’t paid your dues, but really don’t know how an HOA by itself could take a home without costly legal representation. Our HOA is managed by an outside property management company and our HOA is basically here for clerical reasons.
HOAs can definitely foreclose on a lien. I have foreclosed many times when I was running an HOA. See my comments on his previous video.
U must be on the board
@@PhyliciaNicky nope, but I lived in a hood without an HOA for years, and after I sold purposely bought in a hood that had one. My choice.
I live in Queensland Australia 🌏. How do I find appropriate information for my area. I've lived here for 31 years. The house 2 doors from me is selling for up to 1.5 million. My home and land has 2 subdivisions and I live 6 km from the city. I am 73 years old and megga stressed. They only want my property. I would be so grateful for any guidance.
How about Title insurance, refi etc
Remember when he did fishing videos
yep. that was before he got married and had a kid.
Lol the hoa members would not need oxygen anymore. After that I won't need a house.

If you buy a home in an HOA. I'm sorry you need your head examined. You pay all that money to let somebody tell you what you can and can't do with your own home. Yeah I think you need to visit a brain doctor
