Oh heck yeah this is exactly what I was looking for
Hope it's useful to you bud. Still wish there was more god options as a starter set
Very much the route I took! I've got some old metal Tzeench pieces I've added as well -- that add up to some horrors, flamers, and a Lord of Change that's now a Daemon Prince with Wings -- which very quickly nudge this list close to 2000 points. Excited to give it a try in casual play.
It's a good place to start. I just wish GW did a box for each god.
@@DaemonPrinceGaming my friendly local comic store still has a copy of the old, OOP Start Collecting Daemons of Tzeench box -- which wasn't as clear a starting point for gameplay, but had an interesting mix of horrors, screamers, flamers and a Herald, plus one chariot that could either carry the herald or be an Exalted Flamer.
Dope. Been waiting on one of these.
Happy to get one out to scratch your itch 🙂
Thanks for the video! Since I saw a Khorne demons army on the table in our club I am thinking about to start with them.
Would be also a nice excuse to buy Belakor finally 😉
And they would match with my CSM Army as well
No problem. Belakor is a great looking model too.
Cheers for watching 😀
Khrone daemons are great to build, paint and play. The downside is the first game you play against overpowered shootie space helmets, that can shoot you off the board and in combat against bloodletters shoot and fight.
Thanks for the video! I'm learning 40k myself at the moment and have the combat patrol and was assuming I should be getting a Bloodthirster or Skarbrand next, so it's good to have someone confirm that I had the right idea!
I've been a bit concerned about whether I should stick with the faction or if i should get marines first since I've been really struggling with just the combat patrol, but I think this will be enough for me to get that Bloodthirster and try them out for a little while longer 🙂
Would you consider making a video to suggest our options for expanding up to 2000pts? I'm thinking of going mono Khorne but I'm not sure how much I'd struggle with that in the end
It is on my to do list.
I like the big guys
So I would end up with skarbrand
And x2 bloothirsters 🤣
@@DaemonPrinceGaming very fair. Eventually maybe 😅😅😅
I might consider getting Skarbrand first because...well...Skarbrand. I enjoyed playing him in Total Warhammer 3
I wanted to complete my trifecta of imperium (black templars), xenos (necrons), and chaos armies. I converted an old-school metal bloodthirster to start by putting it on a skull altar! Roughly right dimensions and I will just give it to my opponent if its close. I want to go almost mono khorne so I am getting 2 CP boxes!
Blood for the blood god.
Loved Khorne ever since I got into 40k
Khorne horde sounds interesting to try 😯
@@somerton4383 Yeah I've done up my first few models in an ice theme that I am such a fan of!
@@andreweppling2333 I bet that's a pretty cool look :)
Would it make sense to round out the combat patrol with Be’lakor instead of a Bloodthirster at 1k points if I plan on adding non-Khorn later on, or is the Bloodthirster still king for 1k Khorn games?
Me personally I'd take the bloodthirster as he idls more of a freight train.
Belakor is okay not a punchy. More of a tactical unit to get things from deepstrike into closer ranges.
It's up to you to be honest bud.
Be'lakor is an auto include at the moment in full 2k monster mash lists
Tldr buy the box
