Also for those that don't know. Unlike seraphon, space marines, tau, Eldar, gloomspite, ect. Ect. Chaos daemons can be used & played in 40k, kill team, warcry & AoS. Financially the most logical faction to get into.
I'm pretty surprised they never mentioned this. I was expecting it to come up during the whole video
I've literally just realised this.
Also, because Khorne demons are basically "generic devil-like things," you can use them in a lot of non-gw settings, too.

So ummm, I like the lure of chaos daemons and have had my eye on the khorne sub-faction. Do you think that the Chaos Daemons of Khorne is the best way to go for an amateur in the figurine world. I own the start collecting Astra militarium box but I didn’t really click with it and I feel as if chaos daemons are a bit more… epic. In short, do you think that the Khorne Chaos Darmons are good to start off with to get into warhammer 40K?
@@oscarhyde1745 i started with Tzeentch Daemons, and I can say that they certainly aren't the Meta right now. The tzeentch starter box will get you a lot more than the other daemon boxes (5 instead of 3 units) and most of the few ranged options in the entire army are Tzeentch's. Honestly though, read the lore and choose which you think looks better because you'll probably spend more time assembling/painting them than playing for a while.
i prefer the old lore for bloat drones where they were the evolved form of beasts of nurgle that got super depressed because everytone they played with died

So excited to start 40k and get into the daemons. Every video I've watched has helped solidify that decision even more. Just bought a codex and I'm ready to fuck up ally painting!!!
Forgot some of tge best reasons to get them.
1. Can be used in 40k,aos and fantasy
2. Can be summoned with out breaking mono faction abilities

I really really want to make a daemon army of just a bunch of the big demons I know it would be bad but it would look amazing
Honestly a handful of 3 big guys and 2 units of nurglings & other troops would be a solid army.
I don't have the money, time, experience, or storage space to really build and paint an army. But one day I really want to make a highly customized nurgle army with all the models based around the ocean floor, all built around a great unclean one with a rotting whale head. The bottom of the ocean is basically an entire ecosystem of opportunistic predators and scavengers that has little to no variation regardless of time or location. Just feels really apt for nurgles shtick.

Just seeing this now and they look great! I love myself Deamons all day and night :-) they are just fun to look at, paint or play. Monsters are always fun after all.

@@JwayT In 9th edition, chaos daemons are really only competitive with Slaanesh, Be'lakor, and a minmaxed Lord of Change. So I wouldn't bank on winning any tournaments with Khorne and Tzeentch. But Khorne is really good at beating people up in combat, and Tzeentch backs up the Khorne daemons with awesome psychic abilities. However competitive or non-competitive it may be, it sure sound like a fun list

Nice one. I collect only Nurgle and just love them. Now I wish Belakor did not sold out immediately. But esthetically he fits only with Khorne sadly.

I don't think I would ever collect Daemons, I much prefer my armies to be fully armoured. The only one who really has any kind of armour are the Khorne Daemons and even Bloodletters don't have any.
That being said I would like to see Bloodletters or even a Khorne Daemon army where the base is Brass, the Trim is Red, and the Horns are white. I think that would be cool because their skin is supposed to be as strong as metal.
Anyway, my preference for Chaos is mortals. They are nice and fully armoured, and you can do all kinds of funky with them too.

i really looove slaneesh, but am a bit disappointed in how some of the models look (especially the deamonettes), so i was planning on making a some models of my own maybe from 3rd party etc. i don't care about original models, i have to games workshop shops in like 100km and have not even played a single game with my AM army, cause i can't find anyone near me :)
GW new character play game I want to get them on Battle Box Tactical Warhammer 40k Warhammer Necromunder a 5 man squad sets on 25x25 side map for a game map off 25x50 special new units for game change use level 1-1 to 4-4 relics strategy psychic and magnetic model included for upgrade weapons kits and terrain card bolt action on Necron. Would love level 3 paint out the box pokemon style???

I collect Tzeentch and Slaanesh, I'm not a fan of the other 2.
Would not recomend buying in on a faction before the codex and eventual new models for said codex where revealed.
you never know when it will come could be like 1 year from now so why not some newer models will def. not get updated this edition
@@erikwilhelmi3426 I gather as much, but you never know, there is absolutley no logic in what gets updated.
I have been in the hobby for a long time and introduced many new players to the hobby and I would never advice a fresh player to go for a old codex in a new edition.
I rather wait or go for a updated codex.

Why collect to kick there butt's time to take the war to chaos and 10th 7T aggressors as new foot soldier is going to be needed crossing the fingers then you can keep 8 9 and 10 with no change unless 9th rule 🤨no! as a T4 terminator marine 3 gards 2 just well don't fit to chaos Titan War's the fall off Tera basically tank war style test play beat you like 😁. And if 8th you need to vet the lot to hold a spacemarine 9 with 2W A2 T4?? SPACEMARINE. ImperialGards sisters those robot guys but they say the flesh is weak "xenos" we say!!!!.
