Humphreys Peak (x2!) - AZ state high point - Flagstaff, AZ

  • Humphreys Peak is the high point of the state of Arizona. Located in Flagstaff, AZ, this peak is over 12,600' and is part of the San Francisco Peaks, which used to be one large volcano (San Francisco Peak) that stood around 16,000' high. For a western state high point, this is a pretty easy (on par with Wheeler Peak in New Mexico) hike.

      When I would hike it mid-week I had the summit to myself more often than not.
