I fell in love with Flagstaff in 1975, population 23,000! I was so enchanted with it for many of the same reasons as you, only imagine more of the original buildings still there and quite a bit more rugged. My daughter was born there. We have so many memories from our 17 years there. It was a much quieter time (except for the trains!), but the downtown looks even more fun now! I had a women’s bookstore above Alpine Pizza, danced in a bar called Monsoons in the stone bldg across from the train station, and worked at Macy’s part-time when I wasn’t working in the Grand Canyon on the river. Ahhh, so many memories of Flagstaff! I’m 67 now. I was 20 when Imoved there from Wisconsin, I was 37 when I moved to Washington State. Enjoy your lives there! I KNOW you will!
I moved to Arizona many years ago as a travel nurse. Since then, I've completed nursing assignments all over the US but just keep coming back to the majestic Sonoran desert. I guess she adopted me, sounds like she adopted the two of you as well.
I first visited flagstaff in 2013, when I was traveling together with my mother throughout the southwest of the United States. Ever since visiting, I have been in love with Flagstaff, as well as the area around there. I am a Dutch national, but I honestly would kill to live in Flagstaff.
You have a gift in telling a story. I enjoyed your videos.
I was raised there. I remember the warm nights in Summer and the harsh winds and snow in Winter. Vivid seasons that remind you that you are alive. Floating in the oasis of Oak Creek and learning how to fish at Lake Mary. The fresh air swirling around me and accompanying all the adventures from the Peaks to the desert. Enjoy it.
I raised my son in Flagstaff. South Beaver was still a public school. I graduated and worked at NAU. I remember a smaller, more quaint Flagstaff. Seems to corporatized and big now… May you find your piece of heaven there!! And yes, The Peaks once meant “home”…too bad it got so expensive.
WOW!!! Just touched down yesterday. and you are NOT kidding about the breweries 🍻
What amazed me was when first started hearing about Flagstaff was that they had trees and a lot of greenery. Always thought of Arizona as dry Dessert. Very exciting! Thank you!🎉🎉🎉
I would love to retire in Arizona as you folks have. Arizona has always been my favorite state.
My home and first love, living in this town. The experience of moving here when I was six years old. Going to the several local schools. Living in lower green law. This town was everything and more. Growing up here with your best friends, exploring Sedona, Grand Canyon, several areas around this town. Working in this town. It’s a beautiful and wonderful place to be. I had a great time and I love this town so much. Went to elementary, middle school, and high school here. I moved to NM, made a family, brought them back here and they absolutely loved it. But things happened. And we had to move. I miss
A true love letter to Flagstaff..it was lovely

After watching this video in the morning on my day off ufff I rushed to drive up there to Flagstaff I adore that town!!
I spent Christmas in flagstaff and I absolutely fell in love with this place. Everyone was so welcoming and the environment was beautiful. I hope I'll get to visit again:)
Amazing and beautifully done. I too know about what you are talking about. When we finally got to make our move to Colorado. I knew I was home. I'm more home here than I have been anywhere else. Keep adventuring and listening to your soul. Tyler you are gifted at movie making. You have a great voice. You could market this. Shannon I'm so happy for you. I've loved seeing you grow. I am greatful to have been part of your life. Be well, be happy.
Finally....a video that shows the beauty of Flagstaff. Great Job!
I came here in search of some information on Flagstaff to enable us to do a mini road trip when we vacation in Vegas later this year from the UK.. and I just have to comment and tell you how incredibly talented you are at what you do in creating.. the skills you present so beautifully in this video have made me fall in love with a place I'd only discovered just 30 minutes ago. thank you!
I had lived in Flagstaff for 5 years between 1985 to 1990 during my study at NAU. I love the place so much. I have been to many places in the world but Flagstaff is always in my heart. One of many things I miss most about Flagstaff is the smell of pine trees in the morning.
I am almost 70 years ago. First visited on road trips with the family. I have wanted to move here forever, and finally got to do that last year. It's a great place to live.
Tyler and Shannon welcome to Flagstaff. My name is also Tyler and I've lived here for 20 years. You made a wonderful video of our city. Welcome home.
