Watching from Guyana 🇬🇾. Man I love this video. A Peace Corps volunteer once told me about spending time in Flagstaff. I could have only imagined what he had told me about the place then... but this video has just enriched my little prior knowledge of the town.
He did mention about the almost perfect climate...

We vacationed in northern Arizona several years ago and used Flagstaff as our base. The city was very nice and we often fondly reminisce about our stay. Hopefully we can return and rediscover the beauty of the area.

I lived in Flagstaff for four years for my job back in the 1990’s.Nice town I miss it.
Same lived for 13 years. My family opened the Video City and Fun City and we sold in 1999 moved to Texas :)
My Dad took a trip to Flagstaff back in the Fifties when he was a young man ..... A different world then of course 😏..... Talked about often and how beautiful it was ..... And still is I see 👍

Love Flagstaff, been visiting since 1992. So much quieter in those days.My last visit was in 2012. Development has exploded in the ensuing years to the extent that it's loosing it's authenticity and personality. This is a trait that has been duplicated in other lovely old towns in the South West. Oldtimer Englishman from Shropshire who has cherished memories of past visits.

Yes, beautiful landscape. Just keep in mind that Mount Humphrey's is a VOLCANO that erupted violently in the 1200s and we found pumice stones 140 miles away at Keams Canyon, on the Hopi Indian Reservation. There are earthguake tremors there at Flagstaff in modern times, too.
Sunset creator was the one that erupted in the 1200s humpreys peak erupted between 400,000 and 1,000,000 year ago.

Hi, it would be nice one day you make a video with more details of the Grand Canyon and the Valey Monument. I was going to visit all this last September but had to cancel everything because of covid19. Maybe it will be for next year if we manage to get rid of this virus. Thank you for everything.
We did this one of Monument Valley, although filmed it from the highway czcams.com/video/8yfLKRNtFLY/video.html. Some point will probably do Grand Canyon, but the issue there is you can't fly a drone over it.

@Ally Underbelly I moved to a little town in NE Washington state two years ago. Bought a 4+2 house with garage for $180,000. Mortgage is $1107.49 including taxes and insurance so it's still some what affordable up here. Long winters though, guess that's the trade off.

0:40 correction, the elevation of Humphreys Peak is 12,637 feet. Not a big deal, except that you produced this video about Arizona's high country and featured its highest point early on.

@@TampaAerialMedia No problem, and you did a fantastic job on this video. I grew up in AZ and went to college at NAU. I miss Flagstaff and would have loved to make it my home, but my career took me elsewhere.

Not really but it snows quite a bit
Will you feel "trapped" living in Flagstaff?
I don't thinkself, plenty of outdoor activities to do.
If you like living in big, loud, hectic, stressful, traffic choked cities then yes. If you like to be in nature and the small city feel then no.
Shows an image of Vegas, but not of Phoenix. Makes no sense
makes alot of sense, if you listen to the voice over, its mentioning tourist area, Vegas with 38 million visitors a year, is a much bigger attraction than Phoenix, being the top tourist destination in the country.
You should really stop using a Montana slogan to describe a city in Arizona or any other state. Can't you come up with something original and catchy?
Having a Big Sky is not limited to Montana. To me Flagstaff has a big sky, so thats the I describe it, although I do appreciate your feed back, if I do another video of Flagstaff will name it something else
