This show means so much to me. Without this show I wouldn't have met my husband and moved to America, been inspired to continue working on guitar and songwriting, met amazing friends, performed at conventions, all kinds of great stuff.
And while yes, it's okay to be sad that it's ending, it's also important to be insanely thankful that it happened, and also to know that it's not the end of everything.

Yeah, there still some awesome fanfictions; like My Little Universe, what would happen if you mixed Steven Universe and Mlp:fim?, well fun, adventure, and comedy of course. There nine "Seasons". It's very good it's got all assortment of characters, even ocs and new creatures, like Grootslang, a Species of Dragon and pony hybrids, wolf like creatures with two tails. My personal favorite character in these fanfics is Emerald a gem with a he/him pronoun, because it's always funny seeing him just messing around with Peridot lol. #BRONIESAREFOREVER.

But i know it has to end, and im happy these last 10 years have been a blast. It has been a good long while of adventure and friendship.
Im headed to bronycon this year and i know that ill see a few teary eyes, and ill have my own.

We love this show and the ponies in it. They have helped me through depressive states in my life, and i know others have been helped as well.

Yeah when I was bullied back in elementary school I watched my little pony every Saturday because my mom finally got cable... I was sitting in my room just waiting for someone to stop using the tv so I could watch it... I got to watch the first episode when it was on tv... I was so happy that I was able to watch it... We don't have cable anymore so I watch it on Netflix but I haven't been able to watch the season as it comes out. I can only watch a season of it when it's already completed... I found ways to bypass it by watching my little pony either on CZcams or some website before it's on Netflix.... I hope Netflix can get the my little pony the movie on it so I can watch it for the second time...

Welp, today is the day, it’s October 12.......it’s really ending...I’m gonna miss this show so much, I’ve been a fan since season 1 and I grew up with the show (I’m almost 16 and I’ve been a fan since I was 7-8). I’ve learned every lesson and it has helped me with so much. I’m not ready to let something so close to me go. But it’s like the video says, we just have to remember that we will always have each other. The show may be ending but the fandom will never go away, because we ultimately created the community we have now. The show just helped push us along. Friendship is Magic, forever.

This show helped me, either directly or indirectly, find the group of people I interact with today. I'll never forget that. I'll say that I really drifted away from it a few years ago (I only ever got halfway through season 6, and then I just... Dropped it)

When I started to watch the show back in 2010 I thought nothing of it but I went further down the rabbit hole and fell in love with it and became part of the brony herd and now after 9 season we have to say goodbye and it makes me cry to have to say goodbye

This show brought me back to a simpler time, back to 2013, when I was only about 6, and had just discovered the fandom and show. Back then, I wasn't bullied, my parents weren't divorced, and I had only about a year or two before I dropped the whole "I'm a brony!" thing, and then I picked it back up earlier his year. And I loved the show then, and still love it now, and will miss it when it ends, but can't wait for all the stuff we push out to keep the fandom as a whole happy, and the show still going on in our hearts. Can't wait for G5 to come out, but it, nor anything else, will ever match up to G4 and give all of us bronies the experiences we had with it. Goodbye FiM, and thank you for all the memories you gave us bronies. We always have and always will love you, and we will miss you more than anything else!

When I’m 89 years old and talking to my grandkids, I’m most likely gonna go on grandpa rants about how much better life was during my time, and that’s probably gonna include MLP. Rest assured, I’ll be one weird-ass old man. I love this show and I’m going to miss it, but this isn’t the end. Let’s hope G5 can continue the legacy in a good direction. It’s been a fun ride guys, thanks for everything.

I remember a bright eyed little girl who was given a vhs of the old my little pony gen 3 "a minty christmas" movie. I remeber when the same little girl found the gen 4 of the show and fell in love with it at first sight. I remember her break from it afraid of bullies until the episode of fluttershy standing up for herself and when she found friends herself who accept the pony side of her. I saw how she grew and i see her every time I look in the mirror. We all grew with this show and learned what it truely means toe be kind, loyal, generous, honest, optimistic, and what it truely means to be a friend. The show has grown up, and so have we. Lets all hold hands and take a step into this decade heads up and confident. Lets share what we learned from a rainbow cartoon for seven year old girls with the future generations.

I was very very young when I watched this. Around 8 and 10 years down the road I’m 18... and brings me to tears to see such a good friend in bad times telling me it’s time to grow up. When I found this show in 2013, I never would have thought it would captivate me to this degree. But after what it has done to me, I will never forget the amazing experience I had in watching the show and all of the fan-made creations. I even made a video in my animation class (at least attempted to, I didn't know much about animation at the time) that was based on an amazing fanfic (Arrow 18 Mission Logs). Long story short: thank you for all the fun and laughter you brought me. Let's hope generation 5 can keep this fire alive!

I had a MASSIVE ass MLP phase until i turned 13, this show means so much to me and I can’t thank it enough for how much joy it brought not only me but millions of people. I don’t just love MLP for the show, I love it for the amazing creativity that the fans make. This fandom can be a little cringe at times, but it’s also one of the most creative ones out there. To the fan voice actors, the fan games, the fanfics, and so much more, this fandom is poured with so many talented people. Despite the fandoms flaws, I seriously can’t thank all these talented people enough for making me love the show even more.

I know this is 4 years old but this song still hits just like the show did... From a simple show about pastel colored ponies who fight moon demon that turns into a princess when defeated to DBZ style fights with magic and more we had an amazing run with so many adventures and fun and I am so SO glad we have G5 here as well :) Lauren you did an amazing job with this premise and no matter what people say thank you for this show!
Incredible song. This really captured everything a heartfelt goodbye should be. MLP FIM will always be remembered and it's legacy will live on in us. If i hadn't found friendship is magic i doubt i would be here today. When it first came out, i was flipping through channels and came across the show. I watched it, and pinkie pie made me laugh for the first time in months. It brought me so much happiness in a very dark time in my life and i will always love it for that and more.
