The Ouija brothers always clear the building that they investigate. If there's someone living in a building, it's best to leave it alone.
We came up against a homeless person with a tazer. Person just let us know he was there, and was 'armed'. I verbalized We understood, were not there to harm, and would avoid their area. Worked fine. Never, once, did we see anyone in person.
Ouija brothers are probably if not the only then one of the fews who actually do not make BS and whos not fake

I just felt so awful that someone may be there absolutely terrified. They probably felt like they finally found a safe place 😢 Living like that can’t be easy, let’s not make it harder for them. I really do hope they left that sandwich like they claimed 🤞🏻
I agree. The only thing is that, who would eat a sandwich a stranger left for them? They should have left something that was sealed, like a bag of chips. If I found a sandwich laying on the bed, unsealed and didn't know where it came from, I wouldn't eat it. It seems kind of useless that they did that (if they did that), in my opinion.
@AlisonInCT1971 Depends on how hungry you are. I was homeless in the dead of winter once and boy did I get hungry! I would've definitely eaten a questionable sammich. At that point, your brain is starving and you throw caution to the wind just to make the pain in your empty belly go away. It sucks.

I do agree there’s a big problem with abandoned places that are in really poor shape having the contamination from stuff falling, animals and usually always, rain.
There are some places abandoned out there that look like they were literally abandoned a week ago despite having the knowledge it’s been years and those are MUCH more exciting to watch because of the lack of constant contamination.
I’d truly LOVE watching these guys investigate a really cool, rumored to be haunted place, knowing 100% they’re alone.
I also fully believe the majority of their comedy is parody/sarcastic and they’re fully self aware……🤭

Great video SEG! You were respectful and threw in some great banter, I don't think there's any legitimate reason for GT to have their usual melt down/hissy fit. Hopefully they can look at this as a roast and be cool with it 😊
This video was well done SEG. As a person who does urbex that includes abandoned places I have only ever come across a squatter once and at that time we turned off our cameras and have a chat with the bloke telling him why we were on the premisses and what we wanted to do inside the house, the squatter was in the backyard shed. We ask their permission to film inside the house and if it wasn’t okay we would just leave them to their night. We got permission to go inside the house but found it was pretty well boarded up with no easy access unless a board was ripped off which is something we don’t do. So we left the premises. Always helps to be respectful and polite to anyone you come across. So no we did not make a video that night sometimes that’s just the way it goes you don’t always get to make the content you are after when getting together with the team. So in this video I think that if we had come across lit candles. We would have announced our presence and apologised for the disturbance and then announce we were leaving the premises. We would not have roamed the building trying to find the squatters. Thanks for doing this videos. Happy New Year
Another great video 🤘😁 seems their entire video was based on a homeless person making noises that in some ways could be bought of a ghost 😏🤷♂️ they know it’s a person all way round, but uploaded it because at some small instances, they thought it was paranormal… then left food for the person.. 🤔 maybe that was their payment to the homeless guy for the content 😬
I could watch Ghost Theory for hours, they’re very funny, even when there’s nothing happening they keep you entertained, if you need your “spirits” lifted, then Joe and Elliott are the guys to do it, plus they’re not scared to go to the worst of buildings.
As for being funny: Very subjective. I don't really see it. But if you are entertained. Cool.
As to the not being scared of going to the worst of buildings: As we've seen in this case; that's not always a good thing.

As an ex police officer I often wonder why explorers show themselves entering a building that they quite obviously shouldn’t be going in to. Bang to rights if you ask me 🤷
surely as a ex cop you understand that entering a derilect 'open' property without forced entry is tresspass (civil) and breaking and entering a property is burglery (criminal) one involves being told to leave and the other is some prison time. ?

To be fair to them they are actually amateur film makers so their particular style makes sense. Most of the ghost hunting channels summarize their thoughts and feelings during their videos so I don't see a big problem with this.
There's plenty to be critical of GT for but this comes down to the personal preference of the viewer.

Personally, when they find something, they really do find something. But not everyone has my son handy and I can't expect everyone to believe me when I say he sees what they encounter. I agree that leaving would have been the wisest in this case, but so far, I've never found them dishonest when it comes to actually finding something and they do have very good sensitivities. Now I know some people fake, I get my son to verify all my fave channels. I do wish they would realise debunkers are their best friends though. They seem to be nervous since falling out with Beardo, and I'm sure a good chat of how people are feeling would help enormously.

Ghost Theory is a channel I've been watching for a while now, and I've largely found their vids to be pretty good, with a couple of them genuinely having surprised me.
But I've also recently been watching a few Beardo vids and discovering how badly the interaction between them went, and heard his claims that GT remove videos when people call out parts for being fake.
I don't know how true that is, I've found Beardo to be a bit of a hypocrite on a few occasions, and he's quite an abrasive guy, but I like to hear from all sides regardless of what I think of them personally.
The video you covered here was the first one where I really thought GT went way over the top and just... I don't know, cringey? Predicable? Eyerolling? I'm not sure how to sum it up but it was the first time I really had red flags go off about where their channel is going 😕
I will say though, the skinwalker forest thing was something they were well aware of, and they've mentioned a few times in their community posts that they don't take the name seriously and that they do often use over-the-top video titles as a 'tongue in cheek' nod to the worst of the paranormal channels out there.
I'm usually able to spot fakers on the first video I see. I'm someone with a long history within the paranormal (about 22 years) and you can just see body language cues, feel something too flat about the energy the presenters are giving off, or just outright spotting bad acting abilities 😅
Overall I think I'm on the fence about GT right now, I don't think they've handled gaining a rapidly growing audience well, but I'm hoping they can bring it back from the clickbait and the bad decisions they're making for content's sake.

It's the abundance of evidence at each featured location, and the quantity of the uploads which include captures most of the authentic investigators on yt would give their eye teeth to get once every few years that makes me suspicious.
GT say that this is because they go the extra mile and give more time to visiting locations than other channels do. But by that logic, paranormal phenomena would be almost guaranteed daily if only the other enthusiasts would get out more, and I find that difficult to believe.
If, for some of the few investigators who would absolutely sell their own grannies for such convincing evidence on the regular, really thought that this was the case, they would be flocking to every empty home, building and outhouse daily, and there would be a plethora of evidence online and even on BBC TV, I'm sure.
They're just as fake as the rest of them, even got the fake TV show interview cuts

to be fair , ghost theory and ouija brothers are not like the other bull shitters on here, at least they dont have to have a demon or ghost or haunted doll in every upload they post and do say at the end of filming the obvious, that there was nothing paranomal that happened

Yep , I enjoy Ghost Theory. They are in my top 5 channels. A bit of a rough road between them and debunkers but no one should be off limits.
To me; legit paranormal investigation channels and debunking channels should be the best of friends if these channels are in it for the right reasons.

Hi SEG few good laughs in this one really like your style of videos. Just a few of my thoughts on this. I enjoy GT i think they are so far ahead of any other Uk channel in terms of editing humour and locations. And this is not me defending them. Im sure they are well able to defend themselves. Im aware of their history with other "debunkers". It doesn't bother me beacuse i don't know them personally and never will. I mean most celebrities or people in the public eye are usually different people off camera. I hope this history didn't influence you in deciding to cover them in this negative way. The video you picked is about 36 mins when you take out the interview segments its probably about 32 (with a few fast forwards in editing) id reckon they probably stayed about an hour. So not long in terms of an investigation/explore considering the distance traveled for them to get to this house. An hour in a building with mould would not have an effect like you suggest on a persons senses. Like AC does i think you picked a video to promote a negative narrative. GT have loads of excellent content like the 2 previous vids before this one. Personally I think the "conflict in Palestine" is a genocide likewise in Yemen Somalia and in the Congo. I recommend the comedian Tadhg Hickey for some insight on Palestine ☮️. Let me know what you think of his videos.

These guys make me laugh, to be fair….I don’t think they fake anything but there is a lot of paranormal vs people. But that’s because 99% of the time they’re in abandoned buildings which they do clear first, but I’m sure when you’re in the dark, in an abandoned place, the threat of people is constant.
Whether it be people needing shelter or other investigators.
It’s gonna always be a reoccurring issue even though they clear the entire house/building beforehand…. In an abandoned place there’s always the chance of someone walking up at any moment, also trying to be very quiet, despite clearing the location in the beginning.
That looks like an amazing building; shame it's been left abandoned. This video epitomises how I've always viewed paranormal investigating; I'm more worried about the living being there, than any ghosts that might be at a location. 👏🏻👏🏻 Happy Christmas SEG!

I love Ghost Theory. They are one of the few that don't fake their content and I respect that. Funny video SEG as always.
Squatters are people (obviously), and there are good people and bad people. Not all of them chose the circumstances they live with.... but believe it or not, some of them have. Often, drug use prevents people from wanting to get their lives together. And these people can be difficult to interact with safely. The quicker they leave, the better. Happy holidays.

This video wasnt at all what I thought it might be, and I’m kind of happy about that. Honestly, I like watching Joe and Elliot. Do I believe them 100% in their claims sometimes? Not really 🤷🏼♂️ But they are physically there and I’m not, so who really knows. I do like their sense of humor at times, they do seem like decent guys, and real ghosts or not urban exploration has far more dangers than actual spooks would anyhow. Their channel is entertaining regardless.
That being said, I do agree with most of what you said in this video, and believe they probably should’ve left long before they did for a few reasons, but mostly for their own safety. I don’t want to see anyone risk injury or worse just to put out an entertaining video.
This clip makes me wonder if, or how many paranormal "hunters" are accosted by squatters, those with health or accommodation issues etc. Maybe the all too often "GET OUT" messages from "spirits" are from the living.

Oh! I commented on this vid, I found it pretty disturbing and quite distasteful, in fact I'd say putting the squatter in danger. In previous eps I've felt sure they must have paid the owners to let them in and make noises. Especially the ones with the electrics on - obviously someone is paying the bills.

I feel like I have to share this: a youtube paranormal team that shall remain nameless put out a video, with just the 2 lads. At the end, there is footage of them walking away from the home, through the woods, so I asked 'who is filming the 2 of you?'. They responded 'the drone :)'. I didn't respond, but drones have to be operated by someone, and neither had the control on hand. Shortly after the comments were disabled and the video was hidden, available for 'members only'. Hmmmm...
I asked hubby about this. There are drones that don't need someone operating it. Some can be programmed to follow you.

Sometimes it's def pareidolia (5th time lucky on spelling that!) but usually I've found they won't claim anything to be paranormal unless there's just no question. I think I remember them stating that it was a word they used, not a phenomenon found in Britain (skin walker), but my memory is fuzzy after Covid, so it'll be good to check. I don't think they're beyond people asking questions, but I wonder if they shift some things like that because they get tired/don't cope since they've felt got at? But, I also see that it can create more questions than answers. I just think the whole thing is sad. But I'll shut up now and watch with son later. Sorry for rambling! 💜

I've long suspected that there's a third member of Ghost Theory who join them on some investigations and just do subtle things off camera, make noises, creep around. In fact in one of their videos there's an intro shot of both of them walking through the woods, seemingly filmed by a third person who didn't appear in the main investigation. 🤷

I believe they should have left right away. Squatters could be desperate and attack them, criminals on the run could attack, mentally ill people could attack, too many examples that could attack so for ghost theory’s sake, they should have left.

GT is a channel I do watch, there is a comedy aspect to them as they make fun of themselves. And honestly if they do fake things it’s not much and they never say for sure it’s a ghost.

Let's be kind, the video was good and they did not go over the top and they knew the possibility of a homeless person living there, which is very sad in this day and age... If at best there was no ghost activity, then at worst there is some homeless person living in those conditions! It's really sad 😔 Guys left food for them. If we are able to do only one thing in any given day, then be kind 🙏 People are living in these conditions day after day with no help. Love this channel and grey.
It's very questionable. I mean, who's to say that one of them were already sleeping there for a few day, because we only saw one of them climb in through the window, the audience never saw food being placed down anywhere and as for the smell of "cigarette smoke." How is anyone meant to know for sure either of them actually smoke? Sure they could try to dispute that, but it will only come down to he says, she says bs. 🤷♂️ Anyway, thanks SEG, really loving your work. Keep it up, mate.
Well, hang out on the Navajo rez. They're real. BUT, they're HUMAN. Not a monster, not a cryptid. Humans. Who are evil. And we don't even SAY that word, especially on the rez, because it's bad luck. You go asking around about them, people will look at you like you're nuts, because if you acknowledge the questions, you COULD be the one doing evil, trying to find out what people know, or you could be asking to take information back to that one.

I haven't been able to get on and watch any of my favorites, like you SEG! Me and my kids got evicted last mnth and is having a hard time, but it's getting better since I was able to find a job! I’ve been unhoused and there’s several reasons why one wouldn’t want visitors like this. It took them a while but they did ok.
This was the first one of 2 I’ve watched. I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t just pack up and leave. I’m pretty sure the shadow they saw was the poor person running like hell. Still it’s freezing cold and wet, go outside and yell that you’re leaving. Poor bastard.
