- The theme for this blog was definitely chill, cafés, and cows. Ella and I headed up north for some cooler weather to visit two little mountain towns at the base of the Himalayas. The first one being Dharamshala, the home of the Dalai Lama. I was wondering why the Dalai Lama was in India but it’s because in 1960 he established his government in exile in Dharamshala during the Lhasa uprising and the Chinese consolidation of power across Tibet. The next place we visited was called Manali and it was a cute town right at the base of the Himalayas. No joke within a 20-minute drive you could start a trail through the mountains. Because of this, it was freezing and I definitely didn’t pack the correct gear but we still made it work. Join Ella and I on our next adventure in episode 3 of backpacking through North India. xo

Sorry about the yelling bus conductor people or whoever they were. The bus is most likely not the best route to go. If I have the funds, I would choose a flight from any city to the destination because the bus is mostly for people who know the bus system in India and have lived there almost all their lives.
@@manishas9411 It was a stressful ride. But honestly all other bus rides were great so can’t complain too much. oh shoot! I didn’t even think of flights. That’s a good idea! I’ll have to look into that next time! Thank you🙏🏼
Don’t listen to the haters in the comments Lilia. Your vlogs are amazing and you’re a very pretty girl. Keep doing what you do 🫶
