- Today we talk about Audi and the 4.0tt v8 that is offered in vehicle such as - Audi A8, Audi a8l, audi s6, Audi rs6, Audi Rs7 and Audi s7. The vehicle in the video is an 2015 Audi A8L 4.0T. A twin turbo V8 that produces well over 400hp from the factory. Of course we need more power. That is where the DS1 tuner comes in. We talk through why we made the choice to go with the DS1 over the APR tune. How the experience has been.

Im trying to decide between this and the JHM tune for my S7. JHM version includes the ECU and TCU tune which is neat.

What one are you going to pick?
So you're getting roughly an extra 100hp and 150-180ft/lbs torque in stage 1 mode?
I would put a variance of twenty to thirty horsepower in either direction. Regardless of The exact details the increase is substantial.

I thought you wanted to keep it stoock for the warranty on the turbos? But if they are new, I guess it doesn’t matter…
We had it in at the dealer and they provided warranty work with the tune installed!
Something is wrong with your car. My stock 2015 A8L runs a flat 4 second 0-60. Tuned it ran a 3.7. Thats all thats been done to it.
Heat, elevation of altitude and road grade, brake boostin/launch control, tire grip. Just to throw out a few contributing factors.
