Totally . I honestly can watch him play and play and Twirl and play! Such a powerful Drummer, so skilled without being too much. Very animated too, but not too much like Keith Moon. Brilliant. And proof that this band was far more than just a pop band. They were a hard-driving rock powerhouse as well, and went on to craft some of the most iconic hard rock songs ever, and even briefly ventured into prog-rock, where their instrumental prowess and vocal harmonizing were a highlight. For instance, "Action" was a killer hard-rock masterpiece, and most of the "Level Headed" album showed what they could do in prog-rock territory. When I was a kid in the 1970's, I would eagerly await each new album, as each album was different from the last, and I was never disappointed. I was always upset that this band got written off as a pop band. But while they certainly excelled at that, they worked hard to show that they were much more than that, and they succeeded tremendously, but most folks didn't notice. The fans did though, and while I want to thank Sweet for doing everything they did for brightening up my teen years and every year after that, I also want to thank my fellow fans for sticking with them and for being proud to carry the banner. Rock on!

Oh wow these performances from Musikladen are fabulous. I love how raw they are but yet they sound great! I really wish there was a full concert of theirs like this with all their heavier/fast rock/glam rock songs on here that was recorded and professionally produced and shot to give all Sweet fans a wonderful memory of this incredible band performing live. Thank goodness we’ve been able to see this and their other tv performances here on YT . Thanks to the OSC and other you tubers for sharing all this content 🙏🏽

has Desolation Boulevard as a young boy, loved that album. I have been listening to SWEET more and more lately, and have really fell in love with their music all over again. With youtube and google, you can find lots of facts and recordings of the band, I find it all so interesting, and somewhat tragic, that they aren't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as they truly belong there. They were right up there with all the great bands of the '70's, if not better than most. I miss those days...music just isn't the same. RIP Mick and Brian...

They were so fuckin tight, tight, tight! at this stage....And the part after the solo beginning from 2:07 is a real challenge to keep up the rhythm, but they`re all brilliant. They never got the necessary recognition of a live rock band that they deserved.

This is the B-side to the (literally) first piece of music I ever purchased with my own money: Fox on the Run, vinyl single. The most amazing thing is: 40 years later, Sweet is still right at the top of what I love musically. Fucking balls to the wall hard rock that delivers. Only two else come to mind in this realm from back in the day: Rush and Zep. Sweet was awesome, is awesome, and forever will be: awesome.

Just shows you what a great live band Sweet are! The music has lasted throughout the years because of the quality of their work. Hopefully the younger generation will re-discover Sweet and create a whole new generation of fans.
