Hey Felicia!! Congrats on 10k. I really am not sure, but the ‘pokey thing’ that came with your scissors may either be helpful to take out stitches but it may be what I think is called a ‘laying’ tool? To help your stitches (2 strands or more) lay flat. I’m guessing not 100% sure.

With your kitty-boy, I would maybe keep an eye on him in the litter box and see if he might have a uti. If he's taking a long time in there or going often, he might have an infection. Maybe he is just a little uncomfortable, and that's why he has that particular meow.
