Loved everything you shared…..but you’re blowing my budget! 😂 My list is much longer now. My first retreat was a bummer too, but I went to a second one. It was amazing. I met some great people. We’ve attended two more together and will be at a third this month. You will meet your people. You’re obviously fun, and we’d love you at our table!

I think my goal for the rest of this year is to get all my Tiny Towns and my Notes stitched. I'm so sorry you didn't have a good time at your retreat as I know how excited you were to go. I'm a big introvert and as much as I enjoy hearing about retreats I would be very uncomfortable going to one. At least you tried it out. You got some beautiful fabric and patterns. As far as your flosstube, I love watching so I think you should do what works best for you and the time you have to put into it. Cheers~Tara
I fully believe that most retreats are not like the one I went to. Its my own fault. I should have heeded the warning flags that were waving months before I even went, in the group that went with it, but It was local and I wanted to be a part of it so I let that over ride everything else. So I guess its on me. It was an expensive learning lesson. Anyways thanks about the goodies! I cant wait to use the fabric and stitch the charts. I have been waiting months to dig into them and eeee now I can! LOL I hope you are having a lovely weekend.

I'm sorry that you didn't have a great time at the retreat. One thing that holds me back from going in the future (can't go now with husband's work scheduling and homeschooling) is thinking of spending a weekend with people I don't clique with. I would be miserable. It looks like you picked up some incredible haul, though! Looking forward to seeing future FTs, however you may format them.

There were so many signs in the group that went with it but I was stubborn and wanted to be a part of it. It was an expensive mistake. Honestly? I dont believe the vast majority of retreats out there would be like this one. If there was one put on by different people within a couple hours of drive time I would for sure go again but I would know a LOT more to look out for before signing up. Maybe if I had been like most of the others that had been there that all knew each other it might have been different but I dont think so. I have seen so many people talk about retreats online they had gone to and was ... well it wasnt like what others had said. Anyways thanks so much for watching! Gosh its been hard to not just dive in them over the past few months. I kept saying "do a video so you cant play with them" but time just kept getting away. Hope to do better on that.
