Well said. Totally bizarre!
No your just ignorant to the law the BBBOC have no choice but to reinstate him If he provides nothing. You donât have to prove innocence in a court in this country. Benn is not obliged to hand over anything in fact doing so would probably give them reasons to drag things out further investigating. Their dispute was with VADA and the WBC and he has been cleared. The BBBOC will just have to accept that or face likely massive financial consequences in court. As far as I know Benn has never failed a BBBOC drug test so they donât really have a leg to stand on.
Played the race, suicide card only one left is the trans...Might explain why he was taking what he was though đ€Ł
It all started with the trans and the fertility drugđ
Connor Benn does not want to fight the charges, claiming it's beneath him to answer to the national boxing governing body, yet he decides for them, in that interview, how long a ban for repeatedly failing drug tests should be, merely informing us that it should be a 6 month ban. And that he heroically had chosen the path of fighting in the media to be completely cleared of all the charges. A hero... :)
Benn isnât handing over the 270 page report because it isnât worth the paper itâs written onâŠ.getting sort of cleared by a sanctioning body would have a lot less scrutiny than the governing bodyâŠ.he was all over the place in this interview considering it was a pretty lightweight one compared to what Piers would usually give.
Sanctioning bodies do not have the authority to clear fighters! and for the record the WBC said there is no evidence that Benn knowingly or deliberately injested clomifene! how is that an exoneration?
They just basically said he didn't take it on purpose!!

Totally agree with Simon on this one. Boxers in this country are governed by British Boxing Board of Control so Conor whether he likes it or not has to clear his name via them . I liked the example Simon used whether he was chairman of a football club and was called to a meeting with the governing bodies of football which he felt he did not have to attend however bit is tongue and attended. I had a similar situation with entering my fighters in competition in the UK. I am a certified boxing coach based in the UK teaching Peek a Boo boxing . However I have been told that because my qualification is not recognised in the UK I have to do traditional Level 1 and Level 2 boxing badges in the UK in order to enter my fighters into competition ? Like Simon I was very angry and frustrated as I could not understand why other boxing coaches from other countries can come to UK with their fighters and fight without any UK boxing badges whereareas because my Peek a Boo boxing club is in the UK I have to do boxing badges on something I do not teach ?

Ask him why VADA tested the same sample 5 times. Ask him why VADA wouldn't allow Benn's scientist to test the b sample.
His dad avoided a doping test after the McClellan fight by pretending to faint from exhaustion after the fight to get out of pissing in a bottle. The opposit corner also claims they tested blood that landed on McClellan's Shoes or gloves can't remember and it came out positive but they could just be saying that.
While thereâs a lot comments I agree with- Bur Nigel pretending to faint after that brutal fight. I donât think there was much pretending tbh
@@leonmcgill7088 I thought that too but feinting and then being able to walk again a few seconds later as the footage shows does not mean that you are unable to take a piss at some point in the next 48 hours. I imagine he didn't pass out into a comma for a few days...
Conor is really trying to sue the board without presenting to them the paperwork evidence they asked for đ
If Conor was confident and really wanted to get back at the BBoC he would give them his evidence, get cleared and then say screw you to the British licence anyway!
Yes he would use it as leverage against them if he had evidence, license or not. Even just to vindictive himself to the public.
They want us to believe them with no evidence and two failed tests đđ
The 1980s sprinters (and I know one of them personally) didn't believe they were doing anything wrong "because everyone else was doing it". This justifies it in their head so they refused to admit what they were taking. 5 of those 8 olympic final sprinters in Seoul were on stuff.

Simon, conor did say that robert smith tried to sanction him for 7 different things which carried a fine. He mentioned two of those and one being to want the fight to go ahead. More head movement in that interview than any of Conor's fights
I think deep inside his soul he wants to come clean but he's afraid of what it'll do to his father & his father's name. It's actually eating away at him and he's trying to believe the story that's been concocted.
And such is the emotion that drives a person so intensely to depression that they think of ending it all, easier than telling dad. I agree, I think this interview says it all and you're spot on.

What i want to know is, If VADA have found banned substances in his samples why did UKAD not also find them? How many British athletes are competing with banned substances because UKAD are not finding the same results as independent testing agencies?
Are UKAD fit for purpose? Should they have the power to ban athletes if their testing program is unreliable? đ€
Great question, the answer of which probably opens Pandora's box of worms.
@@Soufriere38 I have a few, but i'm sure they're not as scandalous or aggressive as those that maybe locked away in Pandora's box! đ€ As much as i believe that those who are cheating should be punished. I am equally concerned that peoples career's can be destroyed due to an unreliable testing system. I would like to know if a "Trace sample" can be as effective to an athletes performance as that of a "Conclusive sample" My common sense says it does not, but i am not an expert on this subject! If a "Trace sample" has no effect to an athletes performance, why does it need to be made public and if it is then why does the media scandalize it? If the effect is insignificant then they should carry on as normal. Investigate the trace sample and closer test the athlete in the event that a trace sample shows more conclusive results. Maybe that would not be possible or too simple, I don't know. But if it was as easy as getting eggs from Conor and scoring some Mexican meat from Canelo then i suppose we'd all be ripped! đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđđ€
