    Nice video man, very informative!
When it came time to tune my 392, I did a lot of research on tuners and the process. I ultimately decided to go with Jeremy Satara of Satara Tuning, located on the outskirts of Chicago, which is only about 2 hours from my house. Before I let someone dive into my tuning, I wanted to meet him first. I setup a dyno tune at his shop and trailered my 1320 there. I wanted to physically meet the guy and see his shop. Let me just say, Jeremy was an awesome guy, showed me and my son around his shop, show cased all the cars his shop was working on and talked extensively about my future plans for my 1320. I knew I found the right guy for the job. He dyno'd the car bone stock (432RWHP) and then dyno tuned it a few times (479RWHP). I was happy with what he was able to do with a stock 392. I have since done an e85 conversion kit that I purchased from Satara Tuning and he remotely tuned it from street/track data that I emailed him. The car runs great, I don't take it to the track much right now because I am preparing to build the engine/trans but I believe my best 1/4 time at my local track (IRP) was a 11.35 @120MPH (DA2200) w/1.57 60'... they kicked me out for not having fireproof jacket. I haven't been back since but I purchased a jacket.
When it comes to tuning, you have to put all friendships aside and go with the best. Do I know tuners here in Indy? Sure, but when it comes to my baby, only the best will do! :)

Glad you had an awesome experience at Satera. I've heard they do a great job and are customer focused. Can't say that about every tuner. That is a pretty good gain from a stock 392. Yeah, more and more tracks are being sticklers for safety rules. It's their rear end if something happens in the end. 😉

Excellent outline of tuning for the hemi platform. Thanks Don!

I think dyno tuning the vehicle is playing it safe for you car and that should be the first thing done tuning wise. Then send logs from the track/no prep runs to tweak it in for you surface.. Love the videos bro keep it up..

That's the best way. Utilize both methods to dial it in 100%. 💪

FACTS! I'm going thru email tuning process now which is very lengthy and no longer inexpensive. In my case we are having to start over cuz I need to upgrade injectors. Hopefully the fuel pump is not next. Patience is key and must be ready for mechanical issues as you stated.

Street tuning in my opinion . Getting the car dailed in at the street / track and tweaking the tune after couple passes .

Don't disagree but using the dyno to get that initial tune really shortens the street/track tuning process. 😉
