- It's happening! Only a couple months after the Aescalepius, another one of my grails is getting made as an HG. Lord Astray has been one of my favorites ever since I played G Generation Cross Rays. Not only that, but the 1:1 scale Nu Gundam statue at Gundam Side F in Fukuoka is getting a line of merch commemorating the new statue! RG, EG, and BB Senshi versions of the statue are coming to be available soon, immortalizing the Nu Gundam's Long Range Funnel redesign.
Oh yeah, and the titanium Hi-Nu is nice I guess.

The HG Load Astray Omega sold out in less than a minute. I'm hoping there are more releases, because it's too beautiful of a kit to just disappear like that.
I'm guessing either they're having an issue with the shop, or scalpers with some sort of automation have started using the US P-Bandai store now.
I was shocked when I saw that. HGs always go a lot quicker than anything else but this is some kind of record.
I figure it’s scalpers and impulse buyers picking up a bunch, assuming Bandai didn’t also limit supply for whatever reason. They seriously need to restrict kits to 1-2 per user.
Being that it sold out, I will definitely not buy it second hand from some scalper. Unless one of my local hobby shops gets it in, and is selling it for not some excessively overpriced amount retail was I think 35 so not paying 45+) then I guess I'll have to just miss it unless pbandai re-releases is. Hopefully others follow the same choice not to buy from these hoarders who use bots to buy out the kits for excessively high resale.

Load Astray Omega was released to Singapore few days back and it was the same situation. Sold out in a matter of minutes. Was available again for a short while few hours later and then went out of stock for good. Managed to order mine.

Oh I would buy a MG astray gold frame amasu mina in a heart beat. Ever since I saw in the animation video in Gundam seed never ending tomorrow I think it was, it has been love at first sight for me

The BB Senshi Nu Gundam for The Gundam Base is the same as the 2014 kit. So glad Bandai didn't settle with the inferior EX-Standard kit.

3:07 What do you mean theres a 1:1 Kenbu Statue? As far as can be searched on the internet, there is no such statue.
It's not as big as the Gundam statues, but it exists. It was made as a goal for some crowdfunding campaign they did to help fund the show's production.
Are we looking for an updated version of the MG gold frame Amatsu Mina? Or did I miss hear what was said in the video?
Was planning on it but honestly an HG of an Astray isn't worth the $31+shipping they're asking for. But apparently since it sold out in seconds people think it was lol

Since we're getting close to the 25th anniversary of Char's Counterattack next year, does anyone think Bandai would do anything special for it?
I hope they revive all the suits from CCA. The Jagd Doga should get a RG.
Edit: Minus the Nu, Hi nu, Sazabi, and nightangle. I would love for Bandai to focus on the grunt suits, we need a break from the main suits for a while. Perhaps give the Nightangle a RG but the HG literally came out last year and pumping a RG out would make a large group frustrated.
My favorite astray variant is the testament. Just finished building the testament MG a few days ago. Man is it beautiful!

Where is the MG Astray Out Frame Bandai?!
I think since they made Metal Build Amatsu Mina and Hana in 1/100 they don't need to make it a MG due to the amounts of new molds and stability of their backpacks, but who knows. I really want Bandai to make the Green and Blue Frame Astray normal in MG since we only got the red and gold Astrays.
deadass if they did end up making the Amatsu Mina, there'd be a madly overpriced P-bandai Amatsu Hana, and I'd be out of money the _second_ the announced it!
It took them however long to finally get an mg astraea out, even using the old exia as a base too. . So who knows, maybe an mg amatsu is currently in the works and will be out by the next decade.

I want an HG release of the Librarian Works suits. It's something pretty farfetched but I hope one day Bandai decides to do them even as pbandais
Don't generally see this much hype for a high grade. Lord was gone from the US Pbandai shop in less than an hour. I wouldn't worry too much, though, it'll no doubt be back at least once this year.
Yeah, I saw an email from P-Bandai about it before preorders opened at 9PM and went to look at about 9:20 and it was already sold out. I can't remember if they usually allow 5 kits per person, but I find it hard to believe enough people for it to sell out were just sitting there waiting for the preorder to open.

I really wanted to get the Lord Astray, especially since they just established a Premium Bandai store in the Philippines, but goddamn it was sold out as soon as I checked lol
I literally had to refresh the page the second it went live in order to get one for myself. It's insane how hard it is to get a pre-order in nowadays.

the OG SDBB Nu, is pretty detailed. granted, it's MOLDED detail, not color separated. has 2 fictional Fin Funnels, but a 4 Fin Funnel block. Google some builds, and go get it.
My favorite Astray is indeed Amatsu Mina, but Astray Out Frame is a close 2nd.

I'm kinda disappointed that they made the side F nu gundam as just a 1/144 kit really hope they'd release an mg ver in the future tho atleast a gundam base exclusive would be fine by me

It is weird that they haven't made a mg gold frame amatsu as it's components are already out basically, the mg astray my blitz and that strange backpack they gave to the deathscythe roulette that's basically it with minor modifications. I love the gold frame amatsu, testament, red frame Mars jacket and the red frame astray powered (hulk looking one)
