I could listen Anton talk for hours !!!! Such a highly intelligent man! Well done Anton
The chap in the red shirt is smart too!
Please Anton make a new 10 financial advices part 2 it is best video on youtube!!!
yes please
The day i stopped day trading was the turnaround for my trading. Well said. Intraday is just noise.
U mean intraday trading not working we need to do swing trading ??
intraday isnt noise, you just havent learned how the market moves
Wrong
@@wkr420 the tanned multi millionaire eating dinner in Brazil said its noise and you want to argue with him 😂 good luck in life
Based on my experience, intraday trading, especially scalping is the recipe for blown accounts.
I think the best summary of what he is talking about in 1:10 is this: "The order of thinkig that you brought to trading worked in domains outside trading. But when the order of thinking was applied to trading, it was no longer capable of producing effecitve action on consistent basis." ~Rande Howell
Thank you, Anton, for this video. I've been swing trading for the last several months and I'm glad I'm getting my time back. Starting at the screen 24/7 (in the past) is nuts.
I saw you in a fb ftmo group and you passed some mo ha ago now hope you're doing well. I left the group due to negativity but i'm doing g well
5 months into the ITPM course and I'm still realising the more you know, you more you know you don't know. Loving the course, look forward to getting involved with the Institute after I've completed my studies.
The life
How are things going for you at ITPM now? Do you still trade? How is your path? I hope you respond.
yes...please tell us how is it going...
Time for an update, am curious. Thx
As a scalper I'd actually somewhat agree with what he is saying. There are ways to make money on short time frames but you need very specific variables present which most people don't understand. For 98% of people its a recipe for disaster.
Dude he’s not even shitting , I was never consistent in profits when day trading but my other portfolios where I had swing positions and positional trading , always 8/10 made money. Day trading is noise , and you make money from that noise by using high leverage accounts. That’s the truth. With swing trading you use lower leverage lowering your risk but your returns are long term
Markets are fractal
Liked the conversation, especially the part about turning technical analysis into science
I wish I could just sit in on a dinner..And just listen...
@@JamesB9782 heh
I suppose trading on a larger timeframe requires a large capital. Until you reach that, you don't have another choice but to trade intraday.
As they say, it takes money to make money, but he said in this video, if you rely on that money for income, that is not a good idea. He even said to have another source of income also. You can do short term trading with extra money and grow it over time.
Exactly my thoughts, their stoploss but be around 200-400 pips
Could listen to Anton kreil (Y.O.Y)
Can anyone relate to this...I ve been unsucessful intra day after a year of study practice n losses. Now my focus is swing trading and I m seeing consistant results.
Yes me. I went from scalping to day trading, but swing is best
yes
Swing u dint need to stress ur self to watch the screen 24/7 just hold the position
I watch all the video from anton and all other guys at institute. Give me more knowledge. I have been trading in and out for 10 years. For me with little income per month, its true what the guy with the red shirt, best trade in the world is your base salary. If my invesment give big return, i consider it as a doorprize.
weekly OR one minute timeframes! choose one
This is quite good discussion. Thanks
You know, Anton was not lying there. it actually is not THAT complicated. like he said, open heart surgery... that is complicated. It can be so straightforward sometimes, provided you are sufficiently competent on the fundamental side, that it actually confuses you. But, it can also be more complicated. Bottom line is: the more competent you are and the more focus and tranquility you can generate in your mind, the clearer it becomes.
I don’t quite get what he meant by cash flow your account. Is he saying that trading should not be your main form of income and have other sources of income (i.e job or Other businesses) too?
Yes and keep putting more money in as if you’re putting it into a savings account to compound that.
Money should be flowing in over time, not going out, your account should be an asset that you constantly grow. Perhaps if you really get in a pinch then you can withdraw money but it’s never advised
Noises? Just because you don't understand doesn't mean that it is just noises
Love this advice.
Very interesting 👍
Anton could drink ANYTHING under the table
trading is the hardest way to make easy money
Poker
The message of this video is that you cannot trade successfully in small timeframes (1min, 5min)?
Trading Fun¡¡Good guys...¡¡
My time frames are the same as this guy but trades can last "only" 12 hours if price moves fast, I assume it is the same for him.
So 1 day (possibly less than that sometimes) to 3 months, depending on conditions.
When you look at a chart (expect the Dax & Dow Jones maybe as well as events where you have insider info lol), you see "patterns" the price movements make sense, there is something driving it and it moves in waves you get to understand what people are thinking. But when you understand that you really wonder how people can look at the same thing and think really zoomed in in an area you will get anything.
Plus fees are bigger, reward to risk ratio is smaller (because noise & spreads matter more). It's just so dumb to want to trade in a 16 or even 8 hours window...

Bull market and ??? Cant make out the word for 3 days -6 weeks
Same here 🤔
Sounds like "post 08 market"
Swing trading seems to be the one
Legend
What? Are they really equating day trading strategies to a scam...
lmao bc they're all bullshit
Day Trading. Does. Not. Work. Period.
@@SpontaneityJD Yepp, we should rather believe and listen to people using "lmao" and "lulz", than to former Goldmann Sachs traders.
@@davidkarpik4216 and Former Goldman Sachs trader disagrees with you as well. What’s your bs excuse now?
So what would a propre range trading strategy look like then?
Or is it just not possible
@@blogblock Do not trade in a ranging market. Go with the prevailing trend.
95% lose money to day trading. The hedge fund and professional trader pick that money in every trading day.
Intraday is noise LoL 😂😂😂😂😂
What is he saying at 2:24. The market type where volatility doubles?
post event market
He means you are forced to trade short term because volatility is going to double or doubles. As a Trader you namely have to change from portfolio management to short term trading if the expected volatility is going to double.
After there is a market impacting event, volatility is higher. This is because people are piling in or out of positions based on News. No I don’t mean CNN lol this causes price to move up and down in larger moves, thus your potential reward targets will be hit in a shorter time frame
Remo Poulsen
Volatility =fear when fear investors pull their funds out, it makes the price fall faster. If you speculate correctly you be earning faster.
I believe they're comparing bullish vs bearish trades. I think bullish markets are more volatile since they move up more slowly in comparison to bearish markets, and they take longer to reach targets. Bearish markets tend to drop like rocks, and so they have less volatility and reach targets faster.
Cashflow Your Account...!!!
Common sense
I don’t quite get what he meant by that. Is he saying that trading should not be your main form of income and have other sources of income (i.e job or Other businesses) in too?
Intraday trading is just nooice
nice
lol! very funnny!
I see a muslim brother who doesn't drink. 👍
He'll start if he'll be intraday trading hehe
he is not muslim my friend.. he is sikh
So ur saying that it is not possible to make a Monthly Income from trading?
Aditya Patil
No, you need back up for emergencies
Not a consistent monthly income no. If you trade you can’t guarantee you’re going to get $4000 at the end of the month, that’s what a salary is. They’re saying you need a consistent income outside of trading which provides that salary
@@Padderrss I get paid less than 2000 a month
Treat trading like running a business. Nothing is guaranteed, so have a stable income elsewhere for a start. Only when you start to see consistent profits do you start trading full-time.
Trying to use trading as a source of income is the height of stupidity, anyone who attempts such a thing clearly has no concept of exponential growth. Trading is not a means to build wealth quickly, it is a means to sustain and grow wealth over a long time horizon.
wtf he say at 1:20
Funny but how do people make moneu on penny stocks with day trade :)
"To prevent you making a mistake, giving invection on your fundamental view. Time entry, time exit. That's all it is" ... (and "invection" means a second opinion)
😂😂😂😂😂
