    1. Locking system for quick tune settings so micro wheel isn't hit and easily adjusting our tune.
    2. More Rigid barrel system.
    3. different lengths including a 800mm with shroud so it's not so loud.
    4. 700cc bottle
    5. instead of an under fill male port have the fill port like the Panthera or something more convenient.

    The new tech is awesome.....im more excited for this tech getting to other fx form factors however. The panthera is beautiful and if it performs as advertised that will be awesome. BUT. Kinda a one trick pony. Not as serviceable by the end user....no barrel swaps let alone caliber changes will be impossible.
    Think ill wait till panthera tech gets to a fx platform that makes the 2k price more reasonable....this valving on a impact combined with 480cc 300 bar bottle would net another mag (maybe more) or more of high power shots in .22! if im spending 2k its got to be for something as versatile as my M3.
    I think this is a 1500 to 1700 dollar gun. They keep repeating that its competition gun. You can get a precision ruger .22 for 4 to 5 hundos.....even with a barrel upgrade your lookn at less than half the cost of the panthera. Noy yo mention the biggest cost of entry in pcp shooting....your air source. I spent another 1k on compressors and i went the cheap route. another 6 hundos for a tank. there are precision lr ammo with comparable std dev. Yes that ammo is pricey but even then with the cost of air source for pcp and a 2k entry level platform still take some time to break even!
    10 to 15 rimfire deviation is realistically all you need for accuracy at distances in nrl22. Bring on the head to head .22 vs panthera tho. be cool to see it!
    If FX is serious about converting rimfire pros they need to consider their pricing. maybe they should put their engineering guys on hpa compressors to come up with a quality portable affordable airsource. the whole sell the razor cheap to make money on the blades business model.
    any rate their really the only ones pushing innovation in pcps so i guess they get to do what they want.

    • @jrmac92
      @jrmac92 Před rokem

      You're not really competing with a 4-500$ .22 let's be honest. (Even the Ruger LTR is 800 on a good day) Yes is it done sure but a lot of these guys just the addons, the real gear people, and guys who live by the science of ballistics for precision are getting everything for the weight, the exact style etc etc. There are so many factors but when you are doing that you're looking at upwards of $2 - $3,000 dollar guns. And the Panthera, like all of FX, is the higher end of the deal I don't see the price being too off. I mean again you're also saying 1500-1700 for a 1900 - 2k gun. But also the entire air portion can be taken out of cost because just like any hobby there is an outside cost to keep that hobby going. If you got a dream, I think the most basic model your still gonna spend money on a compressor if you wanted to be able to fill yourself, so any entry guy is gonna look at the price. Anyone that isn't entry into airguns is just looking at gun prices.
      If FX makes hardcore HPA compressors, they'll be what Amazon is to online sales to the Air gun industry. haha Hey, maybe that's actually not a bad idea haha. Anyway, I do agree for this purpose of PRS even hunting I wouldn't mind taking it for a hunt this isn't bad pricing, comparatively.

    • @shtizen4371
      @shtizen4371 Před rokem

      @Jim Ryan the ruger percision is max 600 dude and as low as 430. I did mention upgrading the ruger...that model ruger with a upgraded barrel won several competitions in the pa area near me. Against vudoos and the like.
      You still have to get upgrades for the panthera to compete dude. even spending 3k for a top of the line vudoo puts the panthera even when you include a (cheap) air source. Will the panthera be better? can you service the panthera yourself like you can the 22 lr or m3?
      1500 to 1700 for 2k gun...lol who says its a 2k gun...fx? Thats marketing dude....lol
      My M3 cost 2k..a lil overpriced maybe...but i can configure it for everything from .177 pellet to .30 cal slugs and tune it to shoot everything in between at a very high level! If the m3 couldn't do that id just bought a tapian or a cricket. for 5 bills less.
      I have argued for cheaper panthera on multilpe sites as of now...lol always someone defending high prices. no one makes a compelling argument though.....heres a steel maning argument for a 2k panthers.....
      Out of the box its capable of shooting high power long range slugs at lower reg and with higher precision. The lower reg along with the guns design makes for a gun that shoots without the recoil and barrel flip of the m3 and or other pcps. no super heavy hammer or slug kit, and barrel changes and additions required! No need to buy a buut plate or extended bottom rail...hell kinda convincing myself here...lol
      The above is the best case argument for the panthera at 2k. If the above turns out to be true and is important, and has value for you then have it guys. Anything else is straight marketing and hype. For me my m3 does way more and has value enough i splurged on it.
      If the panthera could easily change barrels i may be more inclined but as is i dont think its worth 2k! this tech will migrate to other fx platforms....is fx going to make their entire line 2k? Come on guys!
      Be a fan of fx....not a fan boy...smh
      P.S. I dont agree you take the air source out of the cost i mean wtf dude...lol also if i grant that then ammo cost for lr can be ignored by that logic there by making one of the better arguments for pcps nil.

I have repaired and resealed every one of them. I am not trying to be sarcastic, but it sounds like to me I can’t even take the gun apart to repair it now. Degassing the gun, unscrewing some screws. Unthreading a few things, repairing some O-rings is all it’s really gonna take to change a barrel. I just want to make myself clear. I’m not here to bash the brand that I love. A tube bottle could be an answer not sure if they have them in this size or if it would be too long. Just thinking now. lol. But for a competition or a hunt where you would only be shooting once, maybe twice (hunting), I'm sure it would work perfectly. And with airguns, everyone is so used to seeing bottles that it's not really an eyesore. In my opinion, at least. But maybe a cover would be neat as long as it didn't add more weight, haha. I would like to know if the .30 cal panthera can also be used as a hunting platform?

      The Panthera definitely has the power for hunting! Even with being built as a competition PRS-style airgun, there is versatility with the rifle.

    Whats with all the cinema interludes. Total Waste of Time and did not add, in fact, Detracts dfrom the video. I gave up watching 7 minutes in and could not be bothered watching anymore.

    YES IT'S DIFFERENT from the other rifles. The others works out of the box, this NO. Looks good in video. In real is way different. Pressure gauge damaged due to the extremely poor packaging. Cherry on the cake, it's leaking out of the box, no way to fill it. SOME OF THEM CAN SHOOT GOOD, mine is not even able to be loaded. From a Swedish company with this hype this is simply UNACCEPTABLE.

    Don't get spending all that money on something u get like 10shots out of before the tank is empty or have extreme bullet drop. Air guns like these are so pointless. Almost 2k for a gun that barely pushes 900fps and is barley as accurate as a 22lr.

    • @FXAirguns
      @FXAirguns  Před rokem +1

      Understand some of what you're saying, but the "low" 15 shots per tank is when pushing something heavy like a 40gr .22 at 1040, or a 70gr. .30 at 990. And we content these are more accurate than .22LR, certainly standard .22LR and we suggest these will run up right against high end .22LR that are going to have a similar price point. So nope, we're not barely pushing 900fps and barely (or even barley) as accurate as a 22lr. 😉 - The proof is in the pudding so to saw so I suggest we all sit back and see how the results are as these start getting into shooters hands.

      @@FXAirguns Don't get me wrong it's probably a nice really good air rifle and I like idea of putting air agents gun powder but. The money you have to spend on that gun is far frome worth the money in my eyes. Especially when that gun cost as mutch as a decent AR or just about anny decent gun. A good .22lr cost about $300 to $400 and with cci stingers you get 1650fps with a 32 grain bullet. Mount a scope and supresor and it will do just as well or slightly less as that 2k air rifle dont seem like a good trade off to me. I can see paying that much for like a 50cal air gun that can push 1200fps or more If yall decide to make one tho.

      Not really, what the Chinese did was make air cylinder around the barrel, FX has a separate air cylinder so not the same.

    这是我加你过的最丑的fx气枪。这是在开倒车。设计水平的落后。非常丑的气枪。在中国早就有类似于这样子的秃鹰中握。只是中国不允许,要不然这样子的款式都是淘汰产品。太难看了,又长又丑,又重。

    They should add the same mechanism as excavators on tanks so military tanks can spin around faster dont you think ? 🫡
