Great video! Love this setup. This is my favorite Airgun overall and it has proved it’s amazing and versatile over and over. I need that slug liner.
Very good point you touched on was having to break in a rifle! Many people don't know that & complain about the trigger being too stiff or bad groups right out of the box! It took like 2 tins of pellets for some of my Weihrauch break-barrels to break in! Thanks for the video! 👍

Ya ,atleast 4 grand, but if you think if you buy a fre guns that are mediocre, you could just save some money and get a amazing rifle..trust as some one who works my ass of for a living 4 grand is a shit ton of money.

Thanks for the video guys. I have about the same tune. My 2nd regulator is at 165 BAR. I will see if I can turn it down to 150 BAR or so, but I was also shooting the 93 Grain NSA. Both the Hybrids and the NSA shot 1/2” groups at 50 yards in the crazy winds last Saturday on 11-5-2022 in the Cincinnati area.

@@FXAirguns I will shoot the NSA 93 Grain at my last 100 yard Benchrest competition at Fairfield Sportsman Association this Saturday on our fun card which is our 4th card. These are the competitions that I told you about at RMAC. Need to have a call with you. I can’t find your cell number but you should still have mine. Can't legally hunt squirrel in all states with .35 cal.👎
Could probably broaden the customer base if that changed.

For that kind of money the formulas for accuracy should be there and waiting for the customer straight out of the package, ammo chart with settings gaurentee.
No need for gunsmithing and add on parts.
The dollar seems to have lost it's value on the customer's end.

Great info!!! How does the pellet get seated further into the rifling ? Is the transfer port (barrel inlet) shorter, is the probe longer or at a different depth setting? Please explain.

There have been some rumblings that the heavy slug barrel doesn't shoot well for lots of people. Has there been some improvements in the last few months? Can you guys touch on that here? I would like to buy a heavy tensioned barrel system for my .25 M3, but i don't want it to shoot worse than my STX barrel, or even the same. It's a $350 part. It needs to be an improvement over what I have already paid for in the gun.
Can you also shoot jsb pellets out of this barrel too?

I saw Rick at Shooter 1721 shoot a 22 caliber FX impact and it penetrated 3/4 in of wood at 400 yds.
I'm going to purchase a FX impact Mark 3 with a 600 mm Barrel,slug power kit and FTX Barrel.
The question I have is will this 30 cal be as accurate and also be able to penetrate 3/4 inches of wood at 400 yd or is the slug going to be too heavy and lose too much energy at that distance?
How to get a setup up like this in the US? I’ve been to dealer info and they just show basic fix rifles. I wanna get a setup and not spend another 500-1k in accessory’s
I might be missing something, new to the FX M3. When you show the left side of the gun R1 is at about 125 bar. This would be below the 150 you said R2 is set at. I have a .25 that I swapped the barrel out for a .35 Slug tensioned 800mm barrel. Best speed I've been able to get is 905 with the 68 gr. Hybrids. My settings are 165 on R1, 115 on R2, macro 16/micro 5. Valve on 6. Any increase in R2 from here ends up dropping speed.

Looking to get my first FX. Thinking of putting together a .25 cal Impact rig to get into bench rest shooting. Does the barrel tension system work with the pellet liners? Looking to shoot pellets only for this rig. Which pellet twist rate or liner would you recommend?
IMO you should stick with slugs in the FX, either ZAN or Javelin- the cost is going to be about the same as pellets but you will have repeatable MOA accuracy with the slugs whereas with pellets you get inconsistent fliers all the time. If you only want to shoot pellets accurately you can spend a lot less on a rifle, for example the Umarex Gauntlet II in .25 cal. it's a pellet tack driver and under $500. I own the Gauntlet .25, a Krall .22, an Impact M3 .30 and a Maverik .25. All great rifles, but FX is a wickedly accurate slug shooter and that is why you pay so much for one. GL
@@kl90210hi. Could you share your setup and tune on the .30 and what you’re shooting? I have a .35 and it doesn’t shoot well at all the valve must be all the way out to get anything over 900fps and the velocities are not repeatable or consistent . I am going to convert to .30

Which shape of bullet performs best at 100 yards and beyond?
Seems rifle bullets need to be at least twice as long as they are wide for best stability/ consistent flight.

Are you saying all new heavy liners made by FX no longer have chokes?

No, more that the choke on a heavy liner is much different than a pellet (and much lighter). Hein could speak to this more, but the "recipe" for slugs has less choking involved.

Why was valve adjustment kindof a throw away comment as compared to the way other adjustments were actually specified? Isn’t that the way you ensure “extra” air doesn’t come out behind the projectile, destabilizing it?

The chrono screen has been advertised literally since I bought my M3 when it first came out.. and it's just now hitting the market "in a couple weeks"... took me 6 months to get a 700mm .22 slug barrel kit.. still can't find anything in 700mm let alone now everything's tensioned 800mm damn near guarantee it'll be next summer before the average consumer gets there hands on it and by then.. 6 new products will be released to be on infinite back order..
@@chipsammich2078 We understand the frustration as often in the past we've had demand that has outpaced our supply. That has really been addressed as we've expanded our manufacturing capability and it's showing at dealers as they often have stock on hand and gaps closing on some of the accessories that have had delays.

You state the .35 comes with the tensioned barrel … it does not … received mine 12/19/22 not on my .35
The .35 comes with the Superior standard liner. The tension barrel kit comes with the Heavy superior liner and the tension kit. This is stated at 4:25. If this part of the video is what you were referring to as "comes with" let us know.

Ok hear me out. Now call me an fx fanboy and a Daystate hater but the thing is I don’t hate Daystate but this little lcd screen that you can take on and off is a much better design here’s why. The Daystate delta wolf did something cool but their’s a big problem with it and it’s the plastic computer buttstock and wires that lead through the gun to the tip of the barrel going to I guess the board/radar? I don’t like that design and here’s why, by doing that you got a plastic gun that’s a potential problem in terms of durability second you got all these failure points and then third you got a big problem with HARMONICS!!! What were they thinking ? Now that’s why I think this take on the crono reader integration thing that fx came up with is hands down way better don’t want the damn thing on your gun take it off can’t do that with the delta wolf haha this is gonna bother Daystate and I love it 😂😂😂
