Tuning and getting the highest level of accuracy possible relies on precision, and no other manometer is as precise as the FX Keller Digital Manometers.
Love to put them on my Impact M3 but they look kinda cheap and for 179.00 and only 250 bar? I got 2x 28mm and 1x 25mm sekhmet guages, they work great and the screen looks way better and it was 300.00 versus almost 600.00, and we get it, if it didn't say "FX" on it, it would be 30 to 50 bucks, but for some reason FX makes great airgun and are a staple in the airgun community so they feel they can over charge everyone, sooner or later people wont spend the money fx is asking for being so many more companies are coming out with high end rifles that shoot just as good, if not better for under 1000.00.
Early on when I got my Panthera I tried to remove the regulator gauge to install a digital one. No way was it coming off by hand or a regular adjustable wrench. I was told that FX was adding a little loctite to the thread, what a stupid thing to do. I was told to buy a thin wall socket to get the gauge off. The one I bought was still to large to fit between the two gauges. So this process is not as simple as you show in the video and should of been mentioned. It would have been nice to see the process done on a Panthera with the loctite on the gauge. There will be people like me that bought a digital gauge and found out you can't easily install it because what FX has done.
just tuning, if it's supreme why FX don't sell his airgun directly with this gauge ? It's just marketing and a question of fashion. If FX want to do something, try to make better regulator as Huma-air, or check all your o'ring on new fx airgun who always leak...
I had them on my fx impact for almost a year and not happy with it. The screen started having black spots (while being stored in case). I decided to go with the sehkmet oled gauge and it’s far better in my opinion.
If these can be made in 23mm diameter they would be more appealing to more models and makes. I own FX rifles, Daystate, Air Arms, BSA's etc and would love to add digital gauges to them but limited to only FX because the gauges are too big to fit into other brands stocks (the brands that i have just mentioned).
pro's = 25mm diameter con's = 179 bucks, only 250 bar, The Sekhmet does more, is cheaper and does 300 bar. the only downside for Sekhmet is its 28mm dia. sorry but facts are stubborn.... I know for reg pressure 250 is fine.
Yeah very true. But what’s more in my humble opinion…who even cares about getting the right reg pressure lol? A general guide, even if it’s plus or minus 5 bar, is enough to tell you the necessary reg pressure. I’d rather spend that $170 and get an FX chrono, and tune using velocity and harmonics rather than a number on reg manometer. Just my two cents.
@@DocMustafa I use a chrono, that is only part of the puzzle. reg pressure is just as important it takes both to get a fine tune. sekhmet is $100 and does more.
I would just like FX and the other air riffle makers to actually install good accurate guages as standard. Instead of releasing videos that says our stock guages Are shockingly bad and you really need to spend more money on additional guages to actually know what bar you rifle is really set to.
Hi , thanks for replying. During the video I am mentioning that the standard gauges are already very good . True and tested Wika gauges ! The Wika gauges are analog gauges and impossible to get a 1 bar reading from it no matter how good an analog gauge is . These gauges will serve most of the shooters out there . If we would put these high precision gauges as standard this would also drive up the price of the rifles so the trade of is the accurate analoge gauges with the possibility to upgrade if you want.
@@FXAirguns ho thanks for the reply. so your saying no matter how good the analog guage is its pointless having it as it is a well it looks about the right bar setting and be happy with it.. And you really really need to spend more money on a good digital guage as thats the only way you can get accuracy. I currently own 3 FX rifles and each one looks to be built cheaper and worse than the last. Definaly build down to a cost point and not up to a specification. I have spent countless amounts on making them good rifles and would have happily just bought them with all the FX addons already installed if i was told I would not need to buy anything else to make them a good rifle. Its like the liner system. That you need to replace the orings that holds it in place in the outer barrel tube with a carbon fiber stiffener just to make iit stay straight. And then replace the shroud with a thicker carbon tube to take the flex out of that part. So now your saying that ifnu want accurate consistent. Guages thwon the stock ones away and go digital you should just fit them and price the guns accordingly me more inclined to buy one. At the moment I pull the regs out an set then in a digital reg tester then reinstall them and then I can compleelty ignore the regulator bar guage. As it's way off the digital one not just a bar either way more like an indicated + - 10 or more each way. I still have an RWS Rapier 2 shot I will never sell. But I know my next rifle will not be an FX. The competition out their are producing better off the shelf rifles at the same price point than FX currently produce.

Exaggerate much? None of my fx guns ever leaked. (Knock on wood) and next to Huma regulators, all other regulators regardless of brand comes in second.
On 45 différent New FX (13 M3, 21 panthera, 8 king and 3 Dynamic) 21 of them with leak trouble AT thé first use or After 3 magasin...less quality during thé 11 last months...

Sorry about that , but it is very fast . It reacts as fast or faster then the regulator can recharge
