Lucy did this song when she was 8 years old running along the beach.She even wrote the name of the song on the wet sand with a.stick .That is when I knew she had a gift from God
Hello... I just wanted to comment on the version of "Run" when she was 8 or 10 i think? I saw it, it made me cry at that age, omg... then she redoes it again. At 14? Not sure? But I can't believe how gifted she is... it's like hearing a angel the closest we'll ever get. She brings me peace... I even spoke to my doctor about her, and he said his wife listens to her also! I told him she's like therapy for me at night... I unwind just listening to her music over and over again... thank you world for taking the time to share your time and effort to bring us something beautiful and unique. So I want to thank everyone for supporting Lucy Thomas! My dad sings church music for over 55 years, he's 83 and still recording music. Some people just have it! Unfortunately I don't! The dogs will start howling if I tried...😅
This is the song that introduced me to Lucy a few years back after looking through u- tube!,so glad i decided to listen as its one of my favourite songs & has a lot of meaning for me,origionally by Snow Partol of their classic album 'Final Straw',Lucy had already been discovered by this time having been on 'The voice kids'& getting to the semi finals!,she was then signed by Chris Broom of Cavendish records who saw something special in Lucy,(what a gem he has unearthed!),Chris has gone on to write the musical 'Rosie' around Lucy due for release early next year!,hopefully she may put on 1 or 2 more concerts before its released,though Lucy is well known by a good few people there are still many that dont know of her!,they dont know what they are missing!😊

Yes lucy was not just sitting around during covid she was doing her own recording at home and she has many during the covid lock down !! !
Lucys tone was clear and pure in this young age also her voice control. A good musican and producer like chris broom saw this rough diamond 💎 and took her in contract ( very wise😁). The yardstick is still not reached, because when Lucy released a new video everyone get big round eyes😮 how fantastic she delivered again altough all of her music she has done was already a "💣 mega exposion"❣

KINGO this song/video was released on Sept 24 2019 and that makes Lucy 15 years 7 months old, exactly and the video has 2.653 MILLION views !!!!! Lucy did this same song on the beach and released April 23 2015 when she was 10 years and 2 months old and it has 657,000 views !!! And yes you ask at this time was Lucy discovered ???? YES !!!! She appeared on UK kids when she was 13 years old, and sang MOON RIVER, suggest that also and then re recorded at 18, and signed to her record contract right at 14 years old by Chris Broome of Cavendish records, why today she has about 70 songs recorded and 5 CD's !!!!!Yes Lucy was discovered young and why Chris Broome chose her at 15 to be the lead singer, star in his musical Rosie,...see the songs ONE DAY, the opening song of ROSIE which Lucy recorded at 14 STARLIGHT, SUDDENLY, GENTLE BREEZE songs all recorded when she was 15, and those songs were dress rehearsals for ROSIE then the covid lockdown happened for a couple of years and then Lucy came back with BROKEN DREAMS at18 years old for another dress rehearsal. I would suggest you react to those also and see how Lucy built that strong foundation for her empire she is building. As Bruce Lee once said 'Be water my friend', meaning when you poor water into a pot, it becomes the pot, poor water into a glass it becomes the glass. When Lucy sings, she is like water, she becomes the song, she sings the song with all her heart and soul, she sings with clarity, smooth control, a beautiful softness, and breath control, she checks all the boxes. So Lucy 'be water my friend'.
Hi Kings!! Thanks for covering an older one - enjoyed this. Lucy was 15 when she covered this one. She covered the same song when she was 10. She has many great ones on her channel from her "younger" years. I hope you take a look at all of them. "Listen" - "She used to be mine" & many more - they are all good, It's Lucy Thomas after all!!

I always find it difficult to see how any of Lucy's performances can be improved upon. Not only does she always have an amazing vocal, but also her musical choices are impeccable. The results are for all to see. 😊🎉
Hello Kings, Lucy at 14years old or maybe 15 years old was just so incredible every song she sings from her early days are just incredible I am so mystified how she was never picked up until Cris Broom from cavandish records signed her up after she went on the Voice Kids in 2018, you need to listen to more of her early days music they are just so good Take care Barbara.
barbara Lucy was never picked up until after the UK Kids and no one knew of her, it was the UK Kids that introduced her to the world and Chris Broom scouped her up !!!
That was a truly epic performance by Lucy. It shouldn’t be possible for one so young to produce that level of artistry with such technical credibility and passion. An absolute masterclass.
Lucy 15 here at home during covid was discovered at 13 by Chris Broom. Did her Audition at 13 there, singing "One Day" from Rosie (see playlist "Rare Recordings - Lucy Thomas" compiled by Robbie Dunbar of her official fanclub) Got the official musical and record contract at 14 after the competition.
There is a much more spectacular version of RUN on her CZcams channel in black and white on the beach. Snippets from that version appear in later videos upto her 18th birthday. Look for "Run - snow patrol - cover by Lucy Thomas, 10"
Also in this list is one of her oldest: Colours of the wind from Pocahontas age 9! Her talent was clearly visible.

Lucy is absolutely super talented. Just incredible beyond words. Possibly the best young vocalist on the planet today. It is almost hard to believe that at her age here she was able to hit this very challenging song out of the park. Amazing!

I had never heard this song until Lucy covered it but it has become one of my favourite Lucy songs.
Lucy has a crazy ability to be able to shift between the ranges in her voice, from the low to the high and back again. Her control of vocal power is also sublime mixing soft notes with the more powerful sounds when she opens up.
Hi, Kings003. This song "Run" competes with "A Whiter Shade of Pale" and "Hallelujah" (A real chillfest) as my favorite by Lucy. Such a beautiful voice and so well controlled at such a young age (15). Her slide into vocalize at the end of the second verse just gets me. It is all in one breath and the whole vocalize section is just wonderful. I have been totally captivated by her. Such a stunning young woman with a voice made in Heaven. Just watching her sing is a joy. Thanks for the nice reaction and keep it up. Kit
She was signed to a recording contract at 14 after she finished as a semi-finalist in the UK teen singer TV show in 2018.
She has cover these when 15 years second times, absalutely very sublime stunning vocals of voices these video was recorded during the COVID lockdown at there home. At this ages very young talented Divinely beautiful voices I have ever heard.
