Pakistani Hospitality Is Next Level! 🇵🇰

- We headed over to a random district of Karachi and experienced Pakistani hospitality at its finest.
Finally we tried Pakistani biryani for the first time and I have to say it was incredible. We then had some ice cream and green tea, neither of these places would let us pay anything!
After this we went for a walk around the local neighbourhood where we met Anwar, a lovely local bloke who invited us up to his rooftop.
We then ended up in his home, drinking tea and meeting all his family.
We ended the video with a Pakistani soda back near our hotel, you can't deny Pakistani people really do look after guests.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that these small shop owners are all poor. There is a lot of business & costs/rents/taxes much less than the West so small vendors can and do make a lot of money too.
Biryani..especially beef biryani is absolutely delicious in Karachi..

Ellis if you like rose, you can get a (jam e shirin) or (rooh afza) bottle which is usually used in subcontinent as rose syrup you can make it in water or milk as you like and if you make it in water dont forget to add some lime into it, its quite refreshing! These bottles are a staple of a desi home

Oh here, I could fair go a biriyani now. I even checked the closest Pakistani or even an Indian restaurant. A two hour drive to Pattaya or three hours to Bangkok. I'm going have to settle for a microwave chicken madras I've got in the freezer. Beggars cant be choosers. I'm enjoying the Pakistan vlogs and how it shows how nice the people are.

Get a Thai Biryani down you, we love that stuff so much
@@tobyprice1092 Learn the basics from CZcams and substitute the ingredients you don't have with stuff you do have.
Fried onions, yoghurt, salt, pepper, chilies, lemon, tomatoes, aromatic herbs like cilantro or parsley and some mint. Basil would work as well.
Marinate the meat, and use it to cook a thick rich yoghurt based stew. Half cook rice in a gigantic pot with excess amount of salty water and various aromatics and spices like bayleaves and cloves etc so that the starch washes out. Basmati, Jasmine or some other long grain is great, but you can use whatever you have. Pakistanis prefer using basmati.
Drain the rice. Alternate layers of rice and meat. Seal the pot best you can and let it sit on a very very very low indirect flame for 45 minutes or till rice is completely tender.

All the hospitality was from Pashtoons. Falooda from Peshawar and Tea from Quetta. Both were Pathans.
You guys should look for and give Bihari Kabab a try. It's thin beef steaks that are marinated, skewered and grilled.

The subjects in school are in English. My husband is Pakistani and he said his brothers are weak in their national language but stronger in English. But they speak Punjabi at home. My husband worked hard to learn English only to come to the US and find out everyone here speaks Spanish 😂
