A big reason I enjoy your channel is your ‘environment’ is like I am going to a buddy’s shop to hang out. Nothing pretentious or fake. I learn something new each time.

Dave I enjoy all your videos for the fact that you don’t have a bunch of smoke and mirrors. You’re very knowledgeable and you tell it like it is. I can tell you that the channels I dislike are the ones that feel like an infomercial. I don’t mind content creators having affiliate links but when half their show is buy this or buy that, I move on to channels with content like yours, factual and honest. Keep up the good work and I’ll keep watching.

You are considered a craftsman with a passion for what you do, and you have the ability to share your crafts and wanting to show others your passion for those that want to improve their skills. I truly enjoy all your videos, I may not be able to watch them all, but the ones I do watch, I learn something new all the time. I am a hobby craftsman such as yourself and always looking for ways to improve. Thank you for all the time you take to share your knowledge and for helping others like myself. like others have said, watching your videos is like hanging out with a friend.

I watch your channel because you are entirely relatable. I got my first laser, XTool D1 Pro one year ago. When I needed to learn how to set it up, learn Lightburn, and to make my first projects, it was your channel that I came across that got me started . Your content was what I needed. However,it is your teaching style, sense of humour, your obvious interest to see others succeed that has kept me coming back to your channel again and again. There is also the fact that both you and I made a career in law enforcement, and worked our way to senior management. That is a bond that instantly connected me to what you have to say. Your videos where you show your connection to your community, the businesses, the partnerships, and the pride you have in your family just raise you to the next level when it comes to your character and hold my attention. Because of our time difference, I get to watch the Sunday night show with your buddy Steve when we are eating our dinner. The information shared during these two hours is worth the price of admission itself. The biggest takeaway from that show is how down to earth both of you really are, your depth of knowledge you both have when it comes to lasering, trouble shooting machines, and how much fun you both have with your audience.

I started watching you when all you had was the xtool 20w and a shop vacuum out side. And you showed me that even a back woods guy like me could do it. I started even looking in to getting a laser because i wanted to get 1 sign made and nobody around me would not answer a phone call. Im still watching because your a honest and you show what mistakes you made and how to fix them it really helps. You keep up the good work and thanks for everything

One of the reasons I've been "hooked" on your channel is because I "just" started my own laser business. Wasn't supposed to be, but it turned into one. I've gotten so many ideas, so much knowledge, and so much insight watching here, Laser 911, LA Hobby Guy, and a few others. It's one of the reasons we became a laser business. That and we do share similar backgrounds, and proximity. I spent time in Law Enforcement back up in Ohio (BCI&I Cyber Crimes), and as for the proximity I'm about (roughly) 3 hours south. Pensacola, FL. It's a great channel to watch, and I feel a lot more down to earth and more realistic to someone like me than some of the other ones. Thanks for helping out the community and I'm sure there are a lot of us that really appreciate the indirect support you've been offering.

You are genuine and love the various hobbies you have and share. I find them interesting. Having Brandy in the chat on the live is fun and makes it a bit more interactive.
You have influenced how I use my machine and helped make me a better laser operator. While we may make different things with our machines we experience the same problems and challenges. Your advice is always helpful.
You inspire, encourage, and enable us all to be better and help others with the laser hobby.

I watch your channel because you're a brilliant teacher. You're honest and I don't think you talk too much at all. You are one I try and watch every time if I get the chance. Looking forward to seeing your new channel. Off there now. I love learning how others live. We have thought of doing the same sort of channel as we upped and moved from a small busy town in the north west of England to the remote but stunning Highlands of Scotland where we've started our own business but as we're so remote we've realised we need more than one string to our bow so we started with a printer for clothing, and a sublimation printer hoping to get a shop in the village but that's been a non starter so we're moving over to lasers and back to being picture framers which is what we're trained as. I also now do dog and house sitting so maybe we will do a channel once we're properly up and running. Keep up with your great videos. Off to subscribe to your new channel xx

@@TheClackShack Your video was the very first video I came across after searching the how to/settings with my new S1 using XCS. I had it for almost 3 months sitting in a box scared. There were hardly any videos out there so I continued to watched your videos and recommendations. You've always remind me so much of my Dad and Uncle who are no longer with us. I feel comfortable watching you, as I do and have always felt you're speaking the truth and what you feel works better for you. Why would you want to share something that doesn't work well for you? Not how this works and you have proved this. You always share very informative information for your friends/followers. If you didn't think it would work or if it simply did not work, you would tell us and why/how we could fix it. You never once made me feel like you were only saying it to get something free out of it or because you had to pay off your equipment. You can tell you take great care of yourself and all that surround you. You are a passionate maker who enjoys helping others. That too drew me back more and many more times. I always take something away from your videos with me and apply it somewhere and I thank you for that. Good luck to you and your pretty wife. I have subscribed and look forward to watching you guys.
