Disabled woman wants broken sidewalk fixed in north Phoenix

The disabled mom says it’s a long trip to the grocery store, but the situation has become downright dangerous because of a broken sidewalk.

“Send an inspector out” and then he’s gonna take a year to determine if it needs to be fixed or not.

My cousin lives in Phoenix, she and her husband had a problem with the street in front of their house. The city said it would send sombody out to check it out, that was three years ago. The neighbors got together and fixed the problem themselfs, they sent the city pictures before and after the repairs along with a bill.

Why is this lady walking over a mile in this heat in the first place?

It's not that big of a deal. If it's a long section,yes,it must be fixed. However,from the video footage,it looks like just a small 6 to 8 foot section at most and the small curb she hopped off with her cart is more of an obstacle and judging by the way she slung her cart back up without needing it to get back on the sidewalk after going around the broken sidewalk,she appears to be more physically able than she says.
