The Boys season 4 comes out today so I thought I should put Homelander in a matchup that he might actually win... or does he? Unfortunately the strongest character in Dragon Ball, Mr. Satan aka Hercule, might be more than enough to take down this evil superman! - Krátké a kreslené filmy

That's not entirely true. He did win the championship fair & square. He didn't start cheating until the Buu saga.

That’s also not true. It was confirmed that he lightly poisoned Spopovich to ensure a win which is why Spopovich was SO mad he was down to become Babidi’s minion for power. In fact, Hercule, rather, Mark’s (his actual name) entire fighting style is revolved around trickery and cowardice. It was TAUGHT to him.

Notable features for Hercule regarding Skill: He beat spopovich and actually legitimately won tournaments with his own strength, and we literally see Hercule make Spopovich (pre-babidi buff) look like fodder, he actually no diffs him and launches him across the arena from the center to off the arena, which is ACTUALLY superhuman.
This counts as an insane skill and strength feat to be able to just play around with someone like that.

Before I even watch it I'll say this: Homelander, Soldier boy and two other dudes beat the teeth off each other in an already damaged house and left no visible damage despite hitting with all their power.
Hercule got punched through a mountain by Perfect Cell and recovered with out a senzu bean.
He also dodges hits from Kid Buu just due to his nonsensical movements. Goku even comments on it
Every Dragonball fight between supposedly universal characters happens on planets that are not only not destroyed, unless specifically targeted but rarely significantly altered.
@@kentroberts2545 You gotta keep in mind that a requirement for that kind of power (with Broly as the sole exception) is immense control over it, Goku had so much control over his power in the Universe 6 tournament that he was able to force himself forward in time while fighting Hit, and he's mastered a technique that even Beerus the millions of years old God hasn't in just a year or two, so not damaging the earth is probably so easy he doesn't even have to think about it compared to that.

They control their power and abilities to only damage their target most of the time. During the battle of gods movie, Goku and Beerus nearly destroyed the whole universe by exchanging punches. After Goku gets more used to his new form, he started to negate the universe breaking shockwaves by controlling/containing the impact.

Honestly with his physical abilties if he learned even basic Dragon Ball levels of Ki it would easily be his win.

Here's how I see it going down:
The moment Homelander realizes that Satan's working the crowd against him with his charisma and he can't get it back... he's already lost.
Homelander is one of the vainest characters in fiction. He'll lose control, lash out, become predictable... and Satan will capitalize on that with everything.
Hell, if the situation allowed him to meet The Boys before the match, he'd run an entire exposé while they're fighting.
Oh yeah naw, Hercule obliferates Homelander in a clout battle.
Homelander has a couple of Americans who are devoted to him on a cult like level. Hercule has the entire world who adores him.

To be fair, even if maybe it's not scaling that much (and also GT is non canon) we need to remember how older Satan STILL one shotted a group of Baby infected people, and I'm like, half sure Baby infected persons do get some kind of power boost, so even at one of his lowest canonical power (to argue if Cell saga Satan was weaker or not) he still scaled massively above regular humans.
Wall level, room level, house level, block level, town level, county level, mountain level, local galactic cluster level. The levels Mason, wtf do they mean?
Wall level: can destroy a wall
City block level: can destroy a city block
Galaxy level: can destroy a galaxy
And so on.
One way or another, I see this ending with a certain pink boy screaming "YOU HURT MR SATAN! BUU DOESN'T LIKE YOU! BUU TURN YOU INTO DELICIOUS CANDY AND EAT YOU!"

1. Soldier Boy's explosion is a threat becsuse it would wipe the V from Homelander's blood and make him a normal human
2. Why wouldnt they test a nuke straight on Homelander? They cooked him in an oven to test his durability, why would they BS themselves with the nuke?

There's no way Hercule wins, right? Like yeah the man can dodge a bullet, and he has chopped 14 roof tiles in a single chop. But Homelander has gotten shot multiple times before and didn't even flinch. Hell he's survived an entire nuke before. I love Mr Satan, but there's no way he wins this. I think people downplay Homelander a ton just because of who he's compared to all of the time. Like compared to Goku, Omni Man, Super Man, he's much weaker. But just because he's weak COMPARED to them, doesn't mean he himself is weak. I think the death battle with Homelander vs Omniman encouraged that thought. This is my opinion and all, but yeah. Hercule vs Homelander would go just as well as when Hercule fought Cell.

I see the points made, but I still feel like Homelander wins. Yeah there was that scene in Super with U9 vs U7, but I just don't believe that Hercule could survive a planetary shockwave. Plus, unlike the other humans like Krillin and Tien, who have trained their entire lives and have gotten strong enough to survive planetary attacks, Hercule hasn't. He never really trained after being the world champ. Plus, what if Homelander just flew in the air and killed him with his eye beams? What could Hercule do against that, even with cheaty devices like dynamite or something? I feel like Hercule got high balled too much, and I just can't help but think Homelander wins easily

At this point, it's getting difficult to find an opponent Homelander wouldn't immediately get bodied by.
Arguing that the attack effected Buu and thus must ve equivalent isnt necessarily true, as Buu's body is so malleable thay even bullets have warped it. But I do fully agree that Hercule blitzes Homelander and then cheats hisbwaybto victory.
Hercule is bullet level. Homelander is nuke level. They're not the same.
Hercule is a world champion. Fraudlander is not. It’s that simple.

Edit: I know that they were holding back when they hit him, but there's no reason to assume that a bullet would be more deadly than taking a hit from universal beings, even if they were holding back.

It's pretty hilarious to watch Mr Satan get any sort of respect.
The real question is whether Hercule can tank the laser vision, and for how long. It's fair to say that blunt force isn't going to take Hercule down, considering the things he's survived, but is he heat resistant? Homelander's laser vision, which has been shown to cut through metal with relative ease, bisecting an airplane, and even steal beams. That's some pretty hot stuff. If Homelander can take him out from range with Laser vision, this becomes really close, and I think favors Homelander far more than you think.
When you are such a joke that even comic relief can beat you.
I also want to point out that Hercule can hit Homelander where it really hurt. Take away his fans.
2:52 I feel like it was fairly obvious that the reason that the Soldier Boy explosion is so devastating is because of its power-removing properties. Both Maeve and Kimiko lost their Compound V powers in this kind of explosion, so obviously the same would happen to Homelander.

A few other things of note
According to the comics Homelander was littererally chained to a nuke as a child as a means of restraining him. This makes it even less likely he could survive a nuke as why would that stop him if he could tank it?
as for Hercule as much as I want to give the guy a break. I don't feel him seeing Buu amounts to much as it didn't feel like it was intended to imply he was stronger ... just felt like an oversight. As for surviving the tournament of Power blast. Honestly I think we can chalk that up to the seats being somewhat protected against much of the force as even if we assume he's gotten stronger he's obviously not scailing to that degree.
Also not sure if it's fair to just give the man nuke level bombs even if he's used them.
Now some stuff I feel is worth mentioning that didn't really get mentioned.
While Hercule can't hurt high level Ki users he CAN pull an entire bus with his bare hands ... and he's doing that without Ki. This alone puts his strength above most of Homelander's verse so homelander might actually feel those punches after all. Unfortunately Hercule will lose out on speed and given bullets can harm him he's not really tanking those lazer eyes.
The idea of the match up isn't bad though especailly since it's true Homelander really doesn't match up to most other universes

Everyone dunks on Hercule, but remember before he got punched by cell he genuinely thought he was facing a City destroying Terroist and was ready to throw down.
Man maybe be a showboat, but hes a showboat thats able to punch through steel and haul busses with nothing but his own strength and training.
He does deserve credit. He played key roles in defeating both Cell and Kid Buu in situations where he knew the degree of danger he was in. Even Piccolo admitted that his befriending of Buu came closer to ending the threat than anything the z-fighters had done at that point, and he legitimately respected Satan for it. At the end of Z, the main characters genuinely have respect for Satan because even though his claim to be the world’s strongest is fraudulent, he has legitimate feats of heroism.
At this rate, I'm just waiting to see how Ernest P. Worrell dominates Homelander.

The calc for city block was redone, it was put at town level. Given this was at the start of Homelander’s career it’s not entirely out of question that he could survive a lower end nuke (Though I highly doubt he did…. The confirmation came from a known liar in distress)
Soldier Boy blocked Starlight’s light beams. An interview said those were electrical currents. Doing a quick Google search that’s 90% SOL and would put Homelander at relativistic
Mr. Satan seeing Goku and Buu fight is only reaction speed and wouldn’t necessarily scale to his combat speed. Just because he can perceive it doesn’t mean he can dodge and such at those speeds. He would see all what Homelander is doing but he wouldn’t be able to dodge or block what he’s doing.
This battle is a draw. Homelander can’t hurt Satan, Satan can’t hurt or hit Homelander.
Then Hercule wins through superior rhetoric and homelanders fractured psyche 😃
Cant mr satan at bare minimum move at kid buu level speeds if we consider his best showings because he was dodging kid buu rather consistently even if kid buu was barely trying that should still be hundreds of times faster than light depending on how the scaling goes

Soldier Boy's tiny explosions were a threat because they literally unsupe supes, not because of their raw destructive power. If Homelander got hit by it he'd die because he'd be turned into a normal person AND suffer the consequences of being a normal human in the aftermath of that explosion.

Homelander should not be assumed to be capable of surviving a nuke. And certainly not a Tsar Bomb. The comic tells us that a nuke was kept in his proximity as a fail-safe when he was growing up. And it was made pretty clear that it WOULD succeed in killing him. The issue however came about when he was granted freedom of movement. They still wanted a fail-safe in place, even after he seemingly proved that he could be relied on as Vought's leading hero. And it was judged that a nuke would be impractical, both due to the collateral damage, and due to the fact that he could potentially escape the blast radius or destroy the delivery system. Which led to the decision to create Black Noir (his clone in the original continuity) to shadow Homelander's movements and kill him if he went out of control. Being given the cover story of being Homelander's sidekick.
Blacknoir was the most idiotic failsafe they could think of.

It's pretty funny to compare these two conceptually because it makes Hercule not just look good in terms of powers... but he's a pretty decent guy. Sure he has a lot of Homelander's same need to be beloved and idealized, Hercule enjoys attention and wants to feel important, but the guy was never cruel and seems like a good dad. Videl turned out great.

One thing to note in the case of homelander v soldier boy is that while I don’t agree it places his durability much higher and I’m not making an argument for that case either but it’s stated in the boys that the damage soldier boy causes is due to his radiation frying the compound v in the bloodstream of the supe rendering them powerless, not the explosion itself. Just wanted to put that out there I doubt the initial explosion would kill homelander but either way it doesn’t make him much stronger 💀
